We're here on the Great Ocean Road, the best coastal drives in Australia and one of Victoria's most popular tourist destinations. We visit the famous Splitpoint Lighthouse where one of our favourite shows as kids was filmed then head to Memorial Arch, the unofficial start to the Great Ocean Road.
We stop by Lorne, an awesome coastal town with a fantastic vibe and loads of great places to eat, checkout the beautiful Erskine Falls then head down to Apollo Bay to visit more waterfalls and the impressive Redwoods.
We are Hannah, Chris and dog Archie. We love exploring this wonderful country that is Australia, our "Staycation Oz"! Follow our journey as find new places to visit and search for amazing places Australia has to offer!

Great episode. Nice to have you back. How odd that since we started watching you way back when; we've now done most of the things you did and inspired us to do. Hey Colin. Chris did it using World Traveller maps in Adobe After Effects- it looked very complicated! I think you can find some easier apps out there though ☺️

Hey LadySusan Jane! Great to hear from you again and such a great question. It’s something we’ve been talking about a bit, considering the change in videos. We even asked ourselves why we called our channel Staycation Oz and not some kind of van name. So yes, our trips have changed a bit recently, but ultimately we’re about really seeing and experiencing Australia with curiosity and wonder, whether that be for a year or a weekend. It is so easy to take this incredible country for granted, and pulling together the videos really helps us appreciate our trips, creating special memories 🥰 hope that answers your question. Hannah x
