We are sailing in Croatia and living fulltime on our sailboat during 2021. We embark on a 30-day passage to explore Croatia from the very south to the northern Adriatic. We share some beautiful anchorages, marinas, unspoiled islands, great sites, and expenses along the way.
We recently quit our high-tech jobs in California, bought a sailboat, and moved to the Mediterranean. We are just starting our adventure of sailing around the world and experiencing life on a sailboat. In this sailing vlog 2021, we will share our experiences as a sailing couple on RU-vid who spends our first year sailing extensively throughout the Croatian coast. We will document our experiences, travel discoveries, and costs throughout our sailing journey. Croatia offers some of the best sailings in the Mediterranean and Europe. We hope you will find the sailing passage in this video helpful.
Costs to moor, dock a 45’ boat sloop per day:
Make sure to watch previous episodes for our entire passage (Day 1-15) and prices.
Please note we were able to stay for free at all ACI Marinas in Croatia during our passage because of the special they are currently having.

Thank you!! We would love to put more content but reality is keeping up with the boat is more of a time commitment than we anticipated. We are also new to video production and we do all recording, production, and editing ourselves. As we get better we should be able to streamline. Please bear with us 🙂

Have you considered putting a forward facing camera at the top of the mast , it would certainly give you another perspective going under those bridges 😃🥂

Is that a flexofold propeller? Have you ever made any measurements of rpm vs motoring speed? Eg speed at around 2100-2200rpm which is the cruising rpm? Only asking as I may replace my fixed prop with a folding one (same boat).

it is flexofold prop. The engine/speed performance done professionally when we purchase the boat. Results are below- all GPS speeds rpm/nm 1000/4.3 1500/5.7 2000/6.0 2500/7.2 2850(max)/7.9

If you come to split, I believe the berth at the pump station is free due to some administrative paradoxes. You can also contact me if you need any advice or information in Split.

Do they have canals in Croatia like the French canals?
@SeaBeeSailing

We haven’t seen any but there are inlets and rivers you can sail up.

@@SeaBeeSailing Thanks I was thinking more about coming from France through Europe. Not coming from the sea.
