Join us as we spend the 4th of July 2023 at EPCOT seeing The Heartbeat of Freedom fireworks and more! We see special characters like Chip and Dale, Mickey, Pluto and Goofy in their colonial outfits they wear especially for the 4th of July, watch a beautiful performance by the Voices of Liberty acapella group, with the rotunda lit up in stars for the holiday, eat BBQ with The Muppets at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, try the new "Tree Cake" at Connections, a tasty and unique Baumkuchen! We also see live music, ride Guardians of the Galaxy, watch the nighttime spectacular EPCOT Forever fireworks that celebrate the history and legacy of this park, and immediately following that we enjoy the special The Heartbeat of Freedom 4th of July fireworks!

Nothing beat EPCOT on the 4th July! No park cab beat it! And alway the UK pavilion for the best view of the lagoon, I miss illuminations too, cast member 1994-1995

I used to always do the UK pavilion, but it’s too crowded now because everyone tries to cram in there. So the past few years the Japan pavilion has been our go to and I feel like it’s been even better, the best views for every fireworks show!

Chip and Dale make for some adorable Independence Day ambassadors. And there is no more American dining venue on property than the Regal Eagle! It is - after all - a tribute to all nations, but mostly, America. 😉 Love Cosmic Rewind as a quick, fun escape from the heat. Since the trains flip around, you can go back row or front row and still have a ride each way...win-win! Also love that Figment almost never has any kind of notable wait time. So glad that ImageWorks is finally back again, too! The interactive play areas are a big part of what makes Epcot so special for us. ✨ The fireworks show was incredible, such an amazing compilation of all the best EPCOT attractions! 😍 Reminded me a lot of EPCOT Forever, actually. Great video, Jackie! Hope you and Sam had a magically happy 4th!

Happy 4th Of July Jackie and Sam!! Love this video. It was so fun to see you guys celebrating the 4th!! The restaurant was really cool and the meal looked really yummy! the kind of old westy classical music is from composer Aaron Copeland , basically in the classical field he created what is known as the 'american sound' or 'sound of america' ... once you hear his top 5 songs every single one of them is instantaneously recognizable

That tree cake is also known as a chimney cake in other parts of Europe. It’s mostly because of it’s chimney design. Usually glazed with honey and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It’s a sweet treat on the go. Unfortunately the old way of making it isn’t readily accessible due to many open flame policies. It used be to a charcoal or wood grill and the person would literate turn the cake constantly to create that golden brown. The modern gas is more efficient as they turn themselves but many miss the old fashioned way of doing it. Very common in mainland Europe especially around the vania countries and the former Soviet Union.

Loved watching your day! I was shocked at how low the crowds seemed this weekend, I wish we flew down for the weekend honestly! I need to try that cake at Connections. The fireworks looked so great. I liked EPCOT's version better than at MK. We'll be in the parks end of the month, maybe kiddo and I will see you and wave hi! :) was the heat brutal?! It sounds horrendous and I am used to it being a California girl.

I miss the Sampler at Regal Eagle too. I'd forgotten how good Epcot Forever is. MK bonus fireworks is very cool. I spied a new Figment shirt next to the ears🤔 Swamp Glow looks good on you. As a fellow Brit I sympathise with Sam, however I seem to be able to handle better in Orlando than Hartlepool.

You should come to red, hot, and boom at cranes roost park. It’s every year with a giant concert that lasts all day. The fireworks are at night. Always fun to watch although parking is a challenge, so come early and stay all day plus food trucks all day. They unfortunately are doing construction up there and the view will be obscured for some time.
