This all-time classic unfortunately joined the ranks of extinct attractions in September of 2019, and many were devastated to see it go. Its roar permeated all of future world for over 35 years, and served as a constant source of beauty and relaxation for guests from all corners of the world to soak in during that incredible run.
As a kid, I’d just stand and take in the powerful rushing sounds and its sheer scope. Even better, in the rain. In its final years, the fountain shows became less and less, the geysers less than perfect, but it still maintained its power and sense of wonder. This video was taken on a rainy evening, in its’ very final days of operation. A goodnight kiss, from a legendary Disney monument.
