That pop-top on the Chinese drink you got was like how they were in the 1970s on cans of soda and beers. You know the line in Jimmy Buffet’s “MargaritaVille” song? “I step on a pop top” - That is exactly what he means!
Most Japanese KitKats are around $5-$7 a bag at Asian markets here in Seattle. The Chinese Lays snacks are around $3 a bag. Tunnock’s is great. I recommend Tunnock’s Tea Cakes, if you haven’t tried them yet.
The pull tab used to be very common in the US. The problem was, we used to put the tab in the can once we opened them. People would wind up swallowing them (especially from the beer cans.)
Thank you Nate, trying snacks and candies in Epcot is on our list of things to do when we head down in July. Thank you for the guidance! Hope to bump into you soon....
Hi Nate, it's Warren, you met me and my family in the UK pavilion the day you shot this video. Just wanted to say it was great to meet you and you are as nice in person as you are in your videos, keep doing it
Hey Nate, because of these videos, my family and I cannot wait to come back to Epcot this fall, and do this exactly! My son always gets excited when you post another epcot video! We met you at the boardwalk last September, my husband found your sunglasses in the bottom of the pool lol. Hope to see you in the fall!
VOSS water always makes me chuckle, from the Adam Sandler movie "Grown Ups"... if ya know, ya know🤣 🇩🇪the German chocolates are the Best! Born in Germany, I have had them many times😍 They are especially popular during the Holidays🎄
Japan has some of the coolest and weirdest KitKat flavors ever and I love it. They also have something called KitKat Chocolatory’s in Japan where you can get exclusive/high-end KitKats (some of them go for like 5-10$ for a single Kit Kat bar, of course it’s a little bit bigger, like the size of a BigKat, but they are really fancy and tasty)
I grew up with Walkers shortbread. My Mom would put them in our stockings at Christmas. I also grew up eating Anna 's ginger thins! They are all so delicious!!!
Missed you while in the hospital! Good to see you again. Let’s see if my stomach can handle the “flavors” you will try! The maple leafs were cool, but as candy, not so much.
In Norway, much of the candy and snacks are Swedish - though for a true assault on your sense of taste, try the salt liquorice! It's an experience you won't hurry to repeat. You'll want some Beverly just to get rid of the taste...
The Jakemans Maple Products are made only 1.5 hours down the road from me. That 160G package would cost me 9.99 CAD or about $7.13. So another markup on that product. If you ever get the chance to try maple sugar as a pressed candy or loose it is my favorite over the hard maple candy. Fun fact the only ingredient in your candy is maple as they boil it down past syrup and make it into candy. That is why maple candy has a different mouth feel over traditional candy
Hi Mr Morrow just seen your video . We are from Scotland and the price of the liquorice in a local supermarket was £1.50 or $1.92. Love your videos and the shirts. Hope you and Gracie are doing well.
I never could eat black licorice after trying it once. I stick with gummy bears. Red bean paste is common in confections in Japan. Just very different.
Love your channel and from England the Henry Goode's Superbly Soft Black Liquorice is £1.50 (so $1.90) here Can't wait to come back to the states and enjoy all the lovely sweets/candy you guys get that we don't
I love watching you try the country specific foods! On the “charcoal” bag of chips, the meat has the shape of a cow’s head. So i would assume it’s grilled beef. 🐮
I’m in the UK and have never heard of Henry Goodes liquorice, but I looked it up online at a local supermarket and the same size bag you had is £1.50 so a big mark up as expected at the UK Pavilion! Really enjoyed the trip around world showcase with you 😊
I love your videos Nate, they make my day so happy, your the man, me and my girlfriend are going to Disney July 2-8 we would love to meet you and buy you a drink
The World Showcases are definitely restocked their food items; chocolate is finally back in Mexico! Side note though: a lot of the items you can buy at Publix in the International aisle (especially the UK stuff) for much cheaper!!
Wine Gums and fruit gums are the same thing approx (£1.00) = approx $1.20. Henrys Goodes are (£1.50) $1.70, Coronation Tin from Walkers (£12.00) approx $13.50 🙂 - always love you doing these snacks around the world!
Great videos Nate👍👍👍 Hopefully you’ll be in Disney World the week of June 25- 1st of July. Would like to get a fellow Pennsylvanian a 🍺 beer. Keep up the great work man.
I can’t remember the last time you did this, did you ever get the maple sugar candies from Canada that come in different shapes? They would be like molded brown sugar except maple. If not they are awesome! Also, you need to try the school bread from the Norway bakery. Also, I would like to get your opinion on the UK Cadbury chocolate compared to the US. They are completely different and the UK is supposed to have some of the best chocolate. Now as for Gracie, that was adorable. She is a hoot, I just love seeing her.
We did the World Showcase snack thing when we were there last year - that was fun! I think Canada was giving away those maple candies, or maybe I bought just one at the counter?
Gracie`s reaction to the dalmation toy you brought home was so funny! Hope she ended up enjoying it! Thanks for sharing your adventures Nate! Have a great week!
Nate, all the soda/beer cans had "pull tabs" back in the day. People used to drop them back into the can or throw them on the ground. Both actions led to many injuries every year--leading manufacturers to develop the common opening mechanism that you're familiar with today. Great, fun video--thank you!
Making long chains of them was quite the fad in Jr High 😉 They were a menace, glad the modern tabs were invented. Weird they’re still in use other places.
I laughed so hard when Nate made the lemonade because I thought the same thing. And gracie's recation to the dog. Lol. Poor girl. Hopefully she comes around. Thanks for another great video Nate!

Hey Nate, those 'octopus meatballs' chips were actually takoyaki balls flavour which are from Japan and its like a savoury pancake batter ball that's seasoned with nori seaweed and a special sauce it put on top with katsuobushi (fish flakes) with tiny pieces of octopus tentacles inside. I love savoury and seafood so I love takoyaki! And yes, definitely agree with you that German chocolate is awesome!
I wanted to thank you so much for the 'garage sailing' episode. It brought back so many memories. My family used to go every Saturday back in the 90s and I even made my dad an authentic 'Davis Garage Sailing Kit' for xmas one year complete with maps and pens (things were different in the 90s😉) His drive bys were always 'kids clothes & toys' and if an item was 50 cents he'd still offer them a quarter. 🤣🤣 I'd better grab a snack to watch this vid about snacks. 💕💕 -Western NY Aimee
