I am surprised by your statement that Kayada is not played in Banaras Gharana. Please study the lineage of Pt. Bhagatji one of the student of Pt. Ram Sahaiji. There are "n" numbers of kayads and gats in Banaras Gharana. Many great legendary artists like Pt. Anokhelalji have played them in their recordings. Thank you.
