@@TriariusWarGaming Footsore seems to have the best 28mm options in metal but it would be nice to have a good plastic option too

@@Corvinuswargaming1444 the footsore are really nice, and yeah some nice plastic infantry to keep costs down would be much appreciated. I have some 6th-8th century Gokturks from aventine which are really meant to be Allies/enemies of some early Byzantines I also bought, but I think they might fit in as a mercenary contingent as well

@@TriariusWarGaming I was looking at those as well one day for a possible project. I’ll have to take a look again but they should work for a medieval Turkic mercenary contingent. I was pleasantly surprised Aventine had a range for that period of Turks, it’s a lesser known aspect of the late Roman/early Byzantine period

you can also check The Assault Group they have a good range of Tatars with bows you could use for Central Asian mercenaries.
