Love the concept hate the floor plan those benches that you sit on look very uncomfortable you should have a very comfortable living room where you can come in sit down watch TV at night or when it's raining or when it's extremely cold outside...
@@thebatlwgn personal preference. I've had several Duramax diesel engines in my GMC 1 tons. All have been very good with minor issues. I have a 2005 GMC Sierra with close to 400, 000 miles now
not being salty but you guys ought to see what 200K Euros can buy you in Europe for motorhomes/overlanders? no way one needs to spend 500k++ but hey dats just me...
900L fresh water? 36Kw of Lithium? 2800wats of solar? Incinerator Toilet? Mini-split? You've just checked all the boxes on my dream rig. I would like to see some optional interior/exterior colours (as the current version just isn't that nice) but feature-wise, I am smitten!
@@hrbeta I agree 100%. They've nailed the technical systems plus have some interesting innovations, but have a long way to go in terms of designing a good-looking vehicle. I hope they look at Earthromer and Global Expedition vehicles for design clues (or Bliss Mobil, Unicat, Krug etc.).
Sorry.but holy shit...this thing is amazing. The bathroom and shower was my favourite especially with the option for incinerating toilets. I might arrange the shower a little different, that's about it. The converting bed for the desk area is awesome. For the vehicle itself, I might want to bring the suspension up a bit and little bigger tires for clearance especially considering the back overhang...an OCD of mine...lol.
7 foot ceilings is insane. I've always wanted to live out of a expedition vehicle but I'm very tall at 6'11". I dream of owning one of these one day. Combined with that king bed that doesn't have a end footboard. Things are never made for people my height. This vehicle is crazy
Nice to see a black tank. The seating could be updated, think about being stuck inside while it's raining. Windows in the bedroom are awesome!! As well in the cab over. I noticed the front radius arms pointing down slightly towards the front axle, will that effect the geometry of the steering?
Perfect!! By far the best Super C Extreme RV I ve seen. You need a off road model and spokesperson to sell your product I would look great showcasing your product...lol Keep up the great work!
This kind of looks like an Earthroamer to me 😂 I love the space of this RV.I just don’t like the floor plan and the benches since it will be very uncomfortable. But nice video😊👍
I’m sure watching this beast on my phone doesn’t do it justice. I’m sure it’s aww inspiring in person. I feel like that front seating area could’ve been a little more imspired but I get that it’s highly customizable. I also agree that the single cab was the better way to go. More living space versus more seating for your fishing buds. Nice offering.
You aren't going far off road with that short wheelbase and huge overhang. I doubt if it will handle well on the road either. RVs need a minimum of 55% length to the overall wheelbase to be safe on the road.
No way this tank goes off a paved path. The box has no ground clearance. And good forbid it need engine work because how does the cab get removed to access the engine? But it’s pretty and full of all the goodies.
How can you take it off road with such small rear tires. Thee front is super aggressive and looks great but the rear looks like a mutant with those small wheels and with the backend so low how can it make it off road. Put the same wheels in the back and raise this thing.
Very nice.. like the fact that there are so many options.. "semi custom" gives you the best of both worlds.. reliable proven maintainable platform with "extras" to make your life more comfortable/enjoyable. Thanks Jon!
Be careful about the Mini-Splits as they require special cleaning from time to time. Otherwise they can collect mold; fungus and look really nasty... Mine were installed in my house 15 (ish) years ago and a class on not just the filter screens but the fan is necessary to boot. just sayin' ................. enjoy
It’s so cool to know that they can customize the interior to your liking ( I would have it done like the interior from the Bimobil rig)!!! I would also go with the 32 feet box for a little compact to be better at off roading !!
I'd love the one-piece CF construction and Chevy chassis of the ER SX (and the correspondingly higher level of offroadability) with the office space and fuel, water, and solar capacity of this. My current desk is already 78" wide lol. I don't need two king beds, but I DO need space for a triple monitor setup.
What is the height of this building? Please comment back. I've asked other people. What size I would have to have for a motor home. And no one gets back to me, thank you.
Obviously hard work was put into this beautiful machine..I love the ability to make my bed in the morning..I love the desk underneath..very Cool indeed..! Prolly one of the only models on the market that looks closest to a real house. Is there a reason things seems to measure out to 32..😁 the TV, shower, base model is 32. ..Funny how that works..Almost like a code..ha.🏴☠️ I got to admit though you tried hard not to make it look like a Winnebago, it still kinda has that look to it on camera.. I love the storage boxes , I think the front ones should be kinda curved to decrease air resistance..As well as lift the vehicle 2 more inches..for some road clearance.. Maybe lift the body 2 inches as well Incase you travel some where it floods.. Like Mississippi..😁.. Do you have Heated water tanks ? Is the vehicle all weather ? Like for Alaskan travel ? I think it looks well worth the money frens , after all homes in Calif go from the same price on up to well over a million dollars.. Plus this home you can take to see America and live large.. Live work play says it all.. I would love to have one of these one day.. That's exactly what I would do.. And make videos doing it.. For the world to watch.. Travel America on a mission to trace history..True history..
I just wish more than just newell was combining black and grey make it one waste tank would making empting and rinse so much easier. Everything else is just awesome.
I've been building this for while now thinking about what I would like on it. Things I would love to see is better glass windows (don't scratch as easy), single wheel rear (dual is worthless offroad), King bed over cab, cassette toilet with 2 x 5 gallon, delete bathroom sink to make shower bigger, hidden safe and compartments, heated flooring, roof deck by skylight access, LED color lighting stripes, hammock rail pull outs for 2 hammocks, air compressor system with multiple fill ports and control access to do all tires at once from one location, adaptive cruise control, Flir driving system, triple point locking doors and a airline cockpit type door to lock it it. I am definitely looking at this one to take me from work to retirement. AND please add a full Line X type undercoating and full paint. The days of paint and fiber scratches are over. All overland needs these types of paints! Also love the back 270 view "living room" set up, I would work from there and watch TV etc, Thank you for the video and your time!
Poor mans Earthroamer lacking the luxury, durability, sturdiness & off road capability. The first thing I noticed was the lack of adequate ground clearance. No thanks...
I’ve loved this setup in my head. I’ve always wanted to build or at least see one on this platform without a crew cab. No crew cab means more room for the camper.
i would never buy this. why? no emphasis on a good eating area. Camping...living. Sleep and eat. This has no great eating options. those little bench seats would be uncomfortable after 30 mins. when i go camping, 60% of my time is spent drinking and eating with fam and friends. i dont like it
This vehicle is an accident waiting to happen. I will never own a single rear wheel vehicle thats top HEAVEY! Start swaying back and forth at 55 mph or faster then need to stop. Tell us how it worked. One more question. What percentage of the solar panels work with all the dirt covering it?
Ok, I was dreaming of a Loki Falcon x15, but this is nice. Only drawback is youre US. Loki is Canadian so……stilll…….i dont know now. That shower and bedroom set up beats Loki’s. Loki only beats you, I think, in the dinette set up.
Not impressed with the front seating bench things ugh could have done much better design plus all that wasted space under and around neat slide out standing table thing but lost it at the bench things ugh
I want this. But all electric. And definitely NOT Ford... And not quite as long. Take at least a good 10 feet off the back. Get rid of the under belly storage. It hangs too low. Get rid of the bed in the back. I'll use the cab over. Then, put the bathroom across the back to give it more room. Then, the kitchen, dining, and seating could all be in the middle. Put a boat load of solar on the roof. Even more on the hood. Then, have supplemental panels you can set out on the ground and plug into the truck. Have enough solar that the batteries could be fully charged in about 2 days. I bet it's possible.
no coverage of the cab, and what they have done to the truck it's self, way to much time spent talking about storage ..even my wife said what does the cab look like.. if your gonna cover it cover it all.
@@thebatlwgn I can write so much so let's limit my time here because I have a company to run 1) Great job on the 200 gallon fresh, 190 gallon diesel, minisplit, washing machine (eh, can be argued) 2) I checked the specs on the website - black tank is a failure - that alone limits your stay to 6 days for 1 person - so your entire mantra for being out as long as possible, is 6 days. The incinerator toilet you talk about takes incredible amount of power. No chance you can replenish it with your flat mounted solar array 3) The entire design lacks experts, lacks real planning - it's like building a dome with blocks - first, I would terminate relationships with anyone responsible for making use of interior space - I see many broken toenails 4) The amplifier mount is messy and a fire hazard. I have been a 12volt tech for over 20 years (car audio, security, and much more) - at the very least, put a piece of plexiglass to cover all sides - your terminals are exposed - if you expect the fuse to catch that short, yeah, think again - that power wire will burn - when I see things like this, I know you did not consult an expert. 5) solar panels - now I am only criticizing because of the obscene price tag - for such a price and this much energy into building such a rig, you couldn't have designed an aluminum 1" tubing grid to angle those panels for maximum sun ? I have 2040 on my roof with 7 batteries and a minisplit - to replenish a 50% loss in battery storage is a 2 day ordeal here in Florida with optimal conditions. Why is the fridge so huge? Regain that space. Freezer???? The kind of people using these rigs do not need that much ice cream - you have a 6 day max time before you need to hit a dump station Your entire system is not matched. Have any of you actually lived in an RV full time for at least 1 year? You will need sufficient fuel capacity for your generator - I say 1 gallon per day - depending on where this will be used. The work desk - design fail - oh my goodness - you coudl have design some bracket system to drop screens from the ceiling or side of the wall Install a simpler desk platform that can hide into the floor or something - I dunno The outside grill - are we doing Hell's Kitchen in the mountains? That is overkill Nothing here is balanced - you all should live in an rv and come at this with a real sense of purpose and realism Washing machine? What a waste of resources. If you get your incinerator or compost toilet, your gray water limits you to 2 weeks. Buy a few extra pair of socks and underwear, get an extra couple pair of pants and some shirts and hit the laundry when you reloading your rig. Your roof is a mess of a design - the wiring again - so sloppy - I had to work outside on my rv, no experience, afraid of heights in the blistering sun of Naples FL with daily rain showers - and even I managed to keep it cleaner - of course I will redo my own work cause it is still not right But you are building a rig - you have a team - please fire your wiring guy - this is embarrassing You should have ran aluminum rails - build a frame below the roof line - tap to it for support in 2-3 spots at middle and of course mega support at the ends. You could have elevated the panels over those vents What I am saying is just about everything on here looks like it was an afterthought instead of a cohesive design with limited bottlenecks. It is $500,000 of mess To be forthcoming, just trying to write this has my anxiety distracting my thoughts I mean really? power step bars for an offroad rig? I used to install these things - the last thing you need is something else breaking - limit your exposure to such issues. Starlink on the roof - you are killing me The windows, oh wow the windows - ambient temps anyone? Did you at least install ceramic tint to reject the heat so to reduce interior temps by 10 degrees? For this much money - there are glass companies that do amazing things with windows - look up clearstreamarchitectural - I don't know if they do this for RV's but I am sure you can source real solutions with windows I have to stop.
@@thebatlwgn and I must mention the audio system - pure insanity Good quality speakers from Bose or something will give you plenty of quality sound that will wrap you into the movie without being a power drain on the batteries #1 for ALL such rigs is power efficient - waste not want not When you are out in the open space, sound from speakers carries far, you do not need much to make it great Those amps should have never been installed. You can't really go far offroad anyway, your box hangs too low on the sides and is simply too long for such adventures the boxy storage inside is residential - it is not designed for an earthquake on wheels - especially on rocky terrain The minisplit mount is something I expect cousin Mick at the local trailer park to design - it is atrocious Tire could have been on a door that swings open to reveal storage, you are top heavy Where you have the dish mount on the rear, that should be the spot for a removable starlink so to relocate when parking under trees exterior lighting - so underwhelming - like something from the 70's I think the "wander" comes from everyone's mind wandering off into space when working on this project. Do you know how many rv'ers actually watch tv outside? almost none the hand rail for the steps - are you expecting grandma and grandpa to jump into this? why so big? gas shocks to open the door for exterior tv? WHY? who made that decision - save yourself lots of money - fire them today behind the wall install a magnet, we can open the door ourselves don't tell me about the glare of the sun nobody is watching a movie in the day time outside you are either exploring - enjoying the outdoors - or relaxing movies are for later if you want to watch with the sun glare, open the awning lightbar on the front for what? your visibility weakness is on the sides and read - at the front you have the beast lights from the truck itself where are the side cameras for 360 view what about front cameras for 4k recording - with easy access to the roof from the inside with a plugged in power source and large data storage? I want money if you actually implement my suggestions
@AskRemy I'm glad I'm not the only one that's not super impressed. The floor is creaking all over. They just stole earthroamer elements they could afford and went cheap on craftsmanship.
This is AWESOME. ONE Thing: the Solar Panels on top... in case of Hail Storms, needs to have PROTECTION; a metal (Titanium, teflar, etc... ?) Cover over solar Panels.
