I did Choose the Stumpjumper Expert is white on sale for 3000$ from my shop. You know, since the release of the "new" stumpy frame comes next month for order and everyone "needs" to get rite of those awesome Bikes! The Epic frame alone is 4'000$, Just let that sink in for a moment in 2024 😅 I'm Happy😁 Cheers from Switzerland
@@esshoul hehe, I actually own a older 26" Scott Genius and my brothers have the 2020 Genius with 150x 150mm I was test-riding the Scott Spark 910 and the RC versions on many occasions during the last two years and absolutely loved them every time. It was super time consuming "trying" to find the right frame size/color with decent components on the Bike for a "reasonable" price, or the bikes were just not not available at all even directly from Scott.... The new Genius with the hidden shock rides also like a dream but it is too expensive for my taste and looks like a E-Bike. There are also many Bikes that come with an alloy rear. Long story short, it never worked out for me this time. Cheers
You guys forgot the Epic HT... and you cannot claim it is defunct because it has a new frame for 2024 according to your customer support (something to do with Sram compatibility ;)
@esshoul there is only one HT version out so far this year, the comp. It is a new frame. You can confirm this by contacting Specialzed customer service or just RTFM. The most obvious change is UDH. Like I said in the OP... something about SRAM compatibility.
@@esshoul for the third time.... IT IS A NEW FRAME... specifically at least the rear triangle. Look at a side by side picture of the two and you will see that the cable routing is different. Also, like I have said twice, the frame now takes UDH so you can run current gen Sram AXS, which your frame cannot. So...quit being doubtful, take it from someone who has actually done some research, talked to customer service, and looked at the tech manuals. At this point you can even walk into a number of Specialized dealerships and just look at the new bike I have seen them at two locally... it is different.
@@smithandshortdogs What research?! I own 2020 Epic HT and it is the same frame. It has UDH from beginning. 2020 model came in late 2019 and replaced older frame...
