Personally judges doing tiebreakers just to see more rounds needs to stop. Tatas first round tied pockets but tatas 2nd round was no where near pockets. I agree with the other persons comment, for the 2nd tiebreak Tata was not clean at all had a bad transition out of his headspin and kept smacking his feet on the flips against someone who didn't crash the entire battle. Battle wasn't that close honestly and again judges making tiebreaks just to see more rounds needs to stop
I'm with you man, 1st was a tie 2nd goes to pocket and 3rd to pocket, tata crashed on the headspin and kept taping on his backflips. Shouldn't have been a tie against someone who didn't crash or tap once. Seemed like the judges just wanted to see more rounds
I don't have that much respect for Pocket.. he only is good for power moves.. mostly windmills and flares and the back to head spins.. he does the same thing every battle and then just changes his combination.. no respect.. it's about style and uniqueness.. smh
Good Battle. But someone please stop Pocket when he starts doing Tops. Trying to be on beat and having no rhythm is hurting my eyes. Same goes for Lil G.
B-boy StuntZ Obviously none of any that you may know of or drink of. Seriously though, stop getting emotional over an opinion that is just plain obvious. I've seen recent footage from the guy and his tops look decent compared to this battle. Salaam !
2ill1313 Haha that's a good one. Emotional. Oh no you insulted Pockets tops. I'm gonna cry now. I don't care that much. His tops need work but give him a chance he's getting better.
B-boy StuntZ That's why I mentioned that in another recent battle his tops looked a lot better compared to in this and other previous battles. No hard feelings. Salaam !
Both incredible and display amazing strength and control. However, imo Tashawn won this easily. Pocket's main downfall is his lack of creativity. He uses the exact same moves in all his sets, there's only so many windmills and headspins you can do before it gets boring and repetitive. He also has very little rhythm and doesn't pay attention to the music, a flaw that is often overlooked in bboy. It's break "dancing", the music, creativity and rhythm go hand in hand.
Alex Nuţ That is all he's got. He's quite possibly the best in the world at it, but only at that. Besides his 5 moves which are Airflares, Windmills, Flares, Headspins and Handstand spins what else does he really have? I'm sure he can probably do a ton of transition moves but his top rock is basic and he has no real ground footwork to speak of. None of this is bad though considering he does what most people, even the best, can't do but he's better as part of a group more so than by himself.
Wtf are you talking about? He has one of the largest arsenals of any powermover and in his sets uses more transitions then most other powermovers out there.
He doesn't need footwork he's a powermover and that notion that Powerheads do need that has died. He also has one of the largest arsenals of transition out there. Considering he's the most searched bboy id say he's fine right where he's at and should just continue to do what he's doing
Cool battle and well hosted Salah, Pocket's amazing but everything the elders said about him on his emergence (and were accused of 'hating' lol) bears out, he's better in a team to pop in smash it and leave in a puff of smoke but as a 1on1 beyond a 2 rounder he can come undone fast through either exhaustion or just plain 'samey'ness, I mean how far would he get in a Cypher Battle? WCRTM? He's learning tho, he got Sneakers lol and it's nice to see him rock some more Tops now, he just needs to find - maybe through playing a little more floorwork - how to say more by doing less, one of a kind tho, love watching his progress, props to Tatas for even getting a round in lol but it's that very stuff in Tatas style that Pocket could use
That's not what he was asking he meant the rest of the battles with other bboys and styles. On top of the fact Tata shouldn't have been given any tiebreakers
