The primal terror I felt when he said “I think this build is going pretty well” only went away when I realized he probably recorded the voice over after he finished.
Mate I love what you are doing. that blade is just cool. tha patern is awsome. I did subscribe to your channel and can't wate to see more. kind regards from your pal Helcat in Australia.
I find hand sanding “abrasive” too! That made me chuckle. I’d really like to explore the concept that worn out belt make wandering grinds. I figured it was more me having an off day, but if I can blame it on worn belts, I might be able to justify buying belts more often. Thanks for another great video!
I wanted a Hunting knife for my friend as a Birthday gift because he is a great hunter. I searched a lot and in the end, saw a knife which is the perfect gift for every situation. The knife I purchased was absolutely beautiful! Well crafted and heavier than I expected. The blade material was pure in quality and the handle was made from natural wood. I bought this from Almazan Knives. My friend And I are both really satisfied with their product.
That is one *SMEXY* blade! The final pattern reminds me of alligator hide, which would be an awesome name for the blade: Alligator Blade. (would also be an epic band name!)
Just wanted to say that i really love your vids and work! Thank you very much for showing people your process it means alot to us who are veteran builders as well as novice! Thank you!
Epic design ideology and the leopard wood set it off. Very cool. Curious about the leopard wood, it looked like it was semi soft, the belt looked like it was wearing it away like pine or cedar. Is it? I haven't used any yet, and was wondering. Every now and then I find a decent deal on it and haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Epic build! Love how you tried a different method! Usually folks will forge weld the edge steel onto the billet after the can is removed or even insert the edge steel. Great work! Beautiful blade!
Can you build one like for me so I can give it to my Son's Service to the Navy. He just finished his 6th year contract. He likes knives since he was a kid. Look me up.
