Mike, why not take your cord building technique to the next level.. Cover them with Tex flex use a green trace to match the green cabinets. I did this on my Kranzel pressure washer and even upgraded to 12 Gauge wire!! You could even paint the blue to a nice green that matches the cabinets

I live about 30 minutes from Los Alamos. I've never been to Bob's Well Bread, but I definitely want to try it now, haha! It's crazy...that garage/barn is like double the size of my 1500 sqft house 😂 What a dream garage! As for Fred calling it the 'Central Coast' in Ep.1, I would agree...I think a lot of people (including myself) consider Santa Barbara County the Central Coast. My city is one of the more-Northern coastal cities of Santa Barbara County. Really, all this part of SB County is known for is produce, flowers and wine.

I've been hanging with Matt since he had the detached Media room on his property. I thought his channel was just going to feature audio/video mainly. No way did I ever dream the channel would transform into what it is now,a Juggernaut! It's a Beast of a channel with Mike aboard. Loving every Minute!❤

I would have run the SwissTrax to the edges and had a cut edge instead of having that gap and used some aluminum transition trim for the edge instead of ST edging.

12:00 Anyone who has done this type of wall install, appreciates the effort Mike. Frustration is: When using lag bolts / screws from a *certain country;* then have the bolt head twist off drywall flush; (in the wall stud). Talk about hearing some poor choice language from an installer. 🤯

Saskatchewan represent! 🌾 I’ve always feared Swisstrax in a winter climate, with snow dropping on it as it falls off your car. Especially on a garage floor with no drainage. But now that I write this I realize that’s really no different than snow dropping directly on your concrete with no drainage.

Do you need a Leviton 20 amp right angle plug or 15 amp. My GFI outlet is 20 amp on. Not sure if that matters. Thanks

I have the K1322TS it started getting milky oil and leaking water from bottom so I brought a seal kit from you guys, changed it out but still had same issue . Kranzle said maybe the seal kit was bad so got another and still same issue. Any advice ? OG support seems backed up reached out a few weeks ago and only got 1 response.

Check the coating on the plungers. They are DLC coated black. If one or more is scored or worn, water may be escaping past the seal into the oil housing.

Crows and Ravens are different, Ravens are bigger and have pointed tail, while Crows have a fan type tail. Also Ravens tend to do more stunts when flying.

I still don't understand the swiss trax flooring! It traps dirt and grim and probably hard to replace individual pieces. How do you clean the floor?

I’ve had Swiss tracks down for a year , a good working garage vac just sucks the dirt right out when ya feal like cleaning. If theirs slope to your garage u could also just simply wash the floor , and the water will just run outside.

No, you need a full tile to utilize the peg and loop to connect to the edge piece. They have a stitch type solution, but it is not ideal.

You know what, your making me obsessed now. When you fitted the kranzle washers on the wall they are not the same distance away from the power outlet vertically. The bottom stainless steel shelf is about an inch away from the power outlet and the top one is about 2 or three inches away. Dont tell Matt

Could the piping been designed in wall since this was a new build? Chases on the wall will make it look like an afterthought.

Couldn’t you just cut the Swisstrax and cover with black powder coated cover? Why the gap? I have 2 misaligned garage doors, cut off swisstrax angle piece connectors, butt them to the cut Swisstrax tile, cover with black metal edge- looks perfect, metal is supported and feels the same

You clearly didn't listen. You can't just cut a tile in the middle of it and connect an edge piece. You have to decide where a full tile terminates.

@obsessed garage - I'm starting a slightly less ambitious but similar concept 2 level garage barn project next week. Have contractors coming in to do the main work (floors, support beams, add a bathroom, etc..) but I'm deep enough in this project it might be worth getting some custom design help on the other garage aspects (cabinets, lighting, workbench, lift (already have one), wash station, etc...) It's 2 levels and will have room for 5 cars on lower level and 5+ on upper level in addition to a lounge, bar, etc.... If you are still on Rennlist, I'll shoot you a PM there. I definaltey would want that door edge rethought , walking through a fully dialed garage , that would bug anyone with ocd. I made custom black alimunum edge pieces for around my staircase when I installed my Swiss tracks , looks pristine and finished. Take a trip to a flooring store/ or moulding millwork store and Iam sure something can be creativity modified to adress that gap at edge . Wicked build otherwise

The water is in piping. The recepticals are fault protected. You do realize there is water and electrical in the pressure washer itself, right? If you're talking about spraying water in the recepticals... nothing is idiot proof.
