I still have my EDT 2nd Batch (black sprayer) and it is still my holy grail when it comes to scents and only use it for very special occasions. CDN Intense really saved me some bucks compared to Creed Aventus. My best bud knew I used to use Creed Aventus and until now he doesn't know I switched to CDN Intense and he cannot even tell the difference 😁😁😁

Me too, I got a couole of older batches of Aventus. The EDT's smokiness of the birch is what I like. I also have the EDT o the CDNIM. I'd have to stick with it, then. Great review.

The EDT 2015-2017 (sliver cap) is the best one in my opinion. Has that deep smoke(birch) that I really enjoy. Great review and comparison man!

Just got the edp and limited and I agree with you. They both smell the same, however the limited is definitely smoother and softer than the edp. The limited is not as loud (but still loud enough, about 75% as loud) as the edp. I think I'll use the limited at work and use the edp when I'm going to be outside to be a bit louder.

It’s funny how one perfume guru says oh it’s lemon plage and all sheeps repeats that bs. Yes edt has very bad opening for 2-4 weeks then it smells amazing and smokes out all competitors. Great review tho edt is my fav got 11/2021 and it’s so smooth even opening.

Great attention to detail bro. This was helpful. Really want to get my hands on edp now. Guess edp is a more refined interpretation of the edt. Imo as limited edition is redundant as well.

The edt has more alcohol in it so the fragrance will kick out more while the other 2 is more pure and refine…scentwise the 2 is better quality and its not only about packaging. Scent is subjective so to each his own…according to preference. Peace✌🏿

Great review again Doc. I guess the 2019 batches don't last as long as your 2017 batch. My 2019 bathc Lasts incredibly long on clothes but definitely doesn't reach 12 hour mark as you've said.

Yes. It will definitely last longer on the clothes but will not project that much. That's one of tradeoffs between spraying on the skin vs spraying on the clothes 😊

Sometimes Limited Edition use better quality ingredients or the finish product from that batch smells much better. But to the average Joe and Me we wont notice it but yes you are right that some Limited Edition or Special Edition are just added designs to bottles and boxes and a marketing tactic.

Gentleman I suggest you buy the Limited edition as it's as close to the original CDNIM as you'll get. The current Edt and Edp is absolute watered-down trash and should be left in storage until Armaf or Sterling make the logical decision to return to the original formula in terms of projection and performance with the Limited edition opening. They'd make a fortune.

newer batch of edt is not worth the money because does't last long, just around 4-5 hours on skin and 7-8 hours on cloths. however the edp version is superb in terms of performance and projection :)

Agree 100%..last year I owned was a 2020 of cdnim EDT..it was already pretty week by that point I got the edp cdnim it's 2024..still pretty strong.

I own creed plus around 10 clones of it. Cdnmi EDT hands down out performs em all. Parfum and limited is great for dates/up close and personal encounters whereas the EDT smells pretty rough up close at any stage of the dry down.

Yes..those may be (your results) however..you were also using the early batch of the EDT with the silver cap.. obviously it would be stronger..if you had tried a EDT batch from the same year the edp and LE were from the results would have been much different..EDT is a shell of its former self..people Even in 2024 keep acting like the edt is best to own . they're just kidding themselves.

Just realised that there are two different concentrations of the limited edition bottles, Parfum & Eau De Parfum. It is said that the Parfum version is the same as the EDP but in a different bottle, whilst the Eau De Parfum version is like what’s described in this video.

Limited edition is just the regular parfum but with Limited edition presentation. So anybody that doesn't need the fancy presentation save yourself some money and buy the regular parfum. You pay less and also get a bigger bottle

Very nice review. So, I of course get the “lemon pledge” opening (which I don’t mind), the musk, ambergris, and smokiness with the edt. I have a black atomizer edition and get at most 6 hours of performance. After that it’s very subtle and can hardly pick it up. With the Limited Edition on the other hand, I get a solid 8 hours with excellent performance. It’s scent is a fairly linear fruit cocktail with the musk and ambergris. Also darker. In fact, it reminds me more of Elysium.

I have a 2017/10 production model with the black sprayer. I think I need to pick up the EDP and save the EDT. Don't get me wrong the EDT is very harsh in the opening and the smokiness is way too much. I'm looking for a well balanced mixed between lemon and smoke.

Hey There, From what i've Noticed that you have the "Silver Ribbon" Limited Edition of EDP! (Where on your bottle and packaging it says Eau de Parfum) From what i have from the latest batch i have the "Black Ribbon" Limited Edition of the Parfum (Where on my bottle and packaging it says Parfum) Which is the Highest Concentration I hope you can smell and try it out since it's very very different!

Does the EDP have the synthetic chemically smell that EDT has? Does EDP still have that aventus vibe? I really want to get the EDP but I don't want to waste my money and ending up smelling like the EDT chemical smell. By the way, I have the EDT version and I don't like the chemical smell of it; it gives me a headache.

EDP doesn't have the harsh opening of EDT. They have the same dry down. You'll get more juice with the 200ml EDP so value wise, EDP is better than the current EDT formulation

I have the EDT and just got the EDP and I really didnt believe I was gonna notice much of a difference but I was wrong. The EDP is so much smoother, but at the same time its lacking the smokey aspect that I really enjoyed about the EDT. It does feel like they removed certain aspects to improve on the EDT, but in the process kind of killed a bit of what was great about it. Both are very good, but I feel like the EDP is almost overpowering with the lemon in place of the smoke. Yes, the opening is better on the EDP, but after that, I dont think its quite as good. I think the EDT might be the only one you need to get.

@@TaskForceStudio Performance is very good on both. I do maybe 4 sprays and they last the whole day. But I think the EDT lasted a bit longer. They are strong fragrances. Its strange because I thought, if anything, the EDP would be an improvement. But I really think they went overboard trying to remove the harsh opening of the EDT and kind of watered the whole thing down a little bit. If you end up enjoying the smoky aspect of the EDT, dont waste your money on the other versions. They will probably disappoint.

I have compared EDT 2019 vs. EDP LE. To make story short, EDP LE is not an upgrade vs EDT. EDP LE has better presentation and slightly better opening which is not that harsh. But lemon and synthetic vibe is still there, although little less offensive. I was expecting it to be more complex, denser, richer, which it is not. The smell tone is exactly as EDT, with little less roughness. Compared hand to hand, EDT lasts just a little bit longer. Also, it seems to project little better. Bear in mind that price for EDP LE is 2x as high. In conclusion: I haven't tried 2020 EDT batches, but this 2019 EDT wins over EDP LE.

I have batch 12/2020 200ML EDP very disappointed with Performance only last 1-2 hours on my Skin. Projection Max 1 hour. I bought it from Notino. My first and last bottle.

Shake the bottle every day, let it macerate for a month, the performance goes up. I’ve noticed as well that the less you have left in the bottle the stronger it gets. Shake well before spraying too. The oil sits at the top of the bottle. I was disappointed with my edp originally, 2 months later was one of the strongest fragrances I’ve ever had......

@@maromorostar6621 a lot of people go nose blind to the aventus scent profile. I certainly do and can't really Guage longevity. But when you think it's gone I get the occasional compliment. Go figure 🤔

the box says limited edition "parfum" but bottle says limited edition "EDP" , so do you think "EDP" is the mis-print? I have the same one btw. I just donno if it is same as limited edition "parfum"

If this is what Creed Aventus supposed to smell then it's not for me. I wouldn't wear this on a date... or ever... Maybe If I have no option then I would. It smells like a lemon candy or a smoked pineapple. I was so curious on what it smells like, then I got it and was completely underwhelmed. It got better on the drydown as always... Still wouldn't wear this.
