See which key issues comics I add to my comic book collection. See which comic books I pull out of ebay mystery boxes. See which comic book makes me jump for joy. I had a lot of fun with this video and really happy with the comics that I added to my Marvel Comics collection. This was a super awesome comic haul, it did not have any silver age comics but it did have a ton of Bronze Age and Copper age comics. I really love picking up old comics.

I got lucky because I found out my dad had 5 giant boxes of 10 and 12 cent comics! All marvel. Daredevil 1, X-men 1 etc

I always grab G.I. Joe comics if I see them cheap. I can either fill in the last few issues I need, upgrade the condition of the ones I have already or I can easily sell them for $2-$4 each. There is always demand for G.I. Joe.

Your wife must love you "a lot". I got a new car when I was married "picked the Subaru Station Wagon, instead of the sports car" we had three kids and I was responsible. I would wax it every weekend and she said I love the car more than her. I said I never had a new car before and I'm just trying to take care of it. Were long done since those years but your lucky your wife lets you take up so much room with books. LOL, thx for the video and have a wonderful day.

We have been together for 20 years and I love her more and more every day. She really does love me, the clutter does bug her at times but we run the business together and she appreciates the Pop Culture as well. and technically they are hers and my sons as well lol

I still really like Funko Pops, but I do get bored when I just collect 1 thing or do 1 type of video. I think a lot of people are getting kinda bored with Pops though since I see so many people selling collections etc. I will definitely do more comic videos since I love comics so much. I wish they were as popular as the Funko Videos, I would do them way more often then.

My channel is very unfocused lo (Pops only account for 45% of my videos this year) I guess I have been doing a lot more Pop videos lately but they seem to be the only videos with a larger audience.

This what I will do with my comic book collection. Avengers comic books: Put them in a box in order and put an Avenger sticker in front. And I will do it to the rest of my comics.

Getting them sorted is the way to go, I buy so many that its hard to get them all sorted though lol. And I need to get duplicates out so I can sell them to make money to buy more etc. That is the life of a crazy collector lol

I’m down in New Zealand just starting up my comic book collection (predominantly Batman). Comic collecting is not traditionally a big thing down here but I’m giving it a crack.....great video and please keep them coming, so I can learn what to look out for 👍

I will definitely be making more videos soon. Check out my 100+ comics that you can find that are worth $20 or more. A good start to give you an idea of what you need to be looking for. I am sure there are some local comics that might be worth a ton that cannot be found as easily other places around the world.

It is about the luck of the draw, but sometimes you can make an educated guess. I believe I saw some Frank Miller era Daredevils peaking out in the stack of the one lot, that is the main reason I bid on that lot etc.

Its always nice to hit some key issues in comic collection lots. I usually take an educated chance when I buy them though so its not so much gambling since its hard to loose at the prices I bid on things. The question is normally if the comics will be worth more then I paid or did I just break even etc.

Yeah as you said, you aren't just making uneducated purchases, you certainly know your stuff and i've heard you say many times you collect what you love not just as an investment, and that way you can't really lose.

I bought the Screamland series when it initially came out, and I really enjoyed it! It’s illustrated in a rather cartoonie fashion, with a light-hearted writing style to the story.You’re correct in stating that the covers are well rendered; that’s what initially drew me in, and in turn compelled me to buy the series. As a humorous aside, the lead male character reminded me of the adult-film star Ron Jeremy - which made it an even more entertaining (read humorous) read for me - truly a memorable reading experience to me. Mark Turley. :€)

I got about 9 crates of comic books from early 70's 80s and 90s. I also have epic , selling for 4,500 just want to get rid of them and take my lost. DC and marvel

It was a ebay buy. I saw that there was some daredevil in the pictures but could not see everything so I took the gamble because I thought it was close enough to the Frank Miller issues that there was a good chance there was some in the collection. So my intuition really paid off this time.

I do buy comics, I usually pay 30-50% of the market price for items worth more then $4-$5 and then everything else is usually in the 25-50 Cent range. If you want to sell them in bulk instead slowly through ebay etc you can contact me on Facebook and we can work something out.

The Uncanny X - Men from 1990s were great. Better than what Bendis did to them. The time travel story was initially quite original. But then they lost control and things got chaotic😵. I'm beginning to think that all - new is synonymous with badly written. I know that's pretty negative. But I like the X-Men and they deserve better stories.✌️

@@popfuntoplay Claremont is a great author. He understands the essence of the X-Men. The exclusion of a population group. Just because they are different. The hate and the fear that hit them. The hope for a better world. And the will to work for it. Claremont portrayed very well. Very few do that.

The original run of green lantern green arrow are hard to get. I have them. In fine 3 stars each copy. I found them in a apt with many comics the owner died in nursing home l also have the flash comics in order the comics l have are from 1960s to 1999 looking to sell everything soon

Do not buy grab bags they are usually junk sellers cant sell. But looking for collections or lots online full of stuff that looks interesting to you is a great way to start collecting.

Years ago l was given a job to clean a apt the owner died in a nursing home l was given 200 dollars to get everything out in a week l found marvel comics from the 1960s to 1999 over 20000 total in the best. Three stars all of them l will sell them soon give half the money to st jude hospital. I was offer a few thousand total for them l am taking to few people

Hehe I am very temperature effected. In the summer I overheat too much so I cut my hair really short and in the winter I get too cold too easily so I become a cave man haha. The fun part of just starting though is there is so many things that are new and exciting to find. You can start with a few small collections if you want to really build up your collection pretty fast and you can get them cheap if you buy them in collection form. Good luck I hope you find some awesome ones.

Pop Fun To Play Ok I have promotoed from being a Noob to a rookie comic reader. I couldn't find a series so I decided to go with digital. I read Ms. Marvel, All new Wolverine and currently reading Attack on titan and yes I know A.O.T is not considered a comic book. So far Ms. Marvel is a good book. Kamala Khan is awesome ☺. The Mystery is only to the buyer. The seller knows exactly what is in them. Wait! Those Daredevil 181 comics I am looking at Ebay they are selling from $10-90 bucks.$96 for 9.6, $149 for 9.8. Someone done made a mistake in your favor. Okay I have to watch the rest of this now. Saw 8.5 sell for $45. Avengers #223 $5-20 depending on condition. Dazzler 1 $2-10. Daredevil 182 $5-20, Kazar #5 9.6 $131. Secret Avengers 23 $5-20. You did well. That last few though kind of meh....

Yeah that first box was definitely an awesome lot. I tend to look for collections that someone is clearing out more then just a random mystery box since those are usually sorted and picked through. I like unpicked lots on ebay when I can.

I’m convinced these are not mystery boxes. These are people who understand the chance at promoting they’re lots through your subscribers so they give you and others like you a good box so idiots like me try our luck and receive free comic book day comics

I dont buy mystery boxes at all, I would avoid them if I were you. I look for ebay collection lots where you can see what they are giving you or at least some of it. In the case of this lot I did not see all the daredevils but I did see a few Frank Miller era ones sneaking in the stacks they had pictured so I took a gamble that paid off. Dont buy a blind mystery box, they are usually terrible.

COMIC BOOK COLLECTING BUY SELL TRADE is a good group to start with and then look for some local groups that may have some deals.

Anything y Jack Kirby is highly collectable. Dazzler was not a popular title. I doubt it would have gone up much in price. Not desirable. Frank Miller's Daredevil was fine and if you go back further in time so was Gene Colan's Daredevil. The latter day covers you show here remind me why I am no longer collecting comics.
