Stunning scenery, and interesting facts dropped in for your viewers to help understand the location and cols nearby. Also enjoyed the choice of music too, thanks for sharing, bought back memories of walking on the TMB route over to Chapieux.
@@CyclingInTheAlps No, not done this Mike although looking at the website, do fancy it. Fred's a great event, you,d love it given the climbs/scenery. Four seasons in one day yesterdayand in Hardknott, making us climb 393m av grade 12% with a lot at 30% after 94 miles in the legs, somewhat masochistic!
Another excellent video of yours, Mike. You really manage to film and present it in a way that makes my legs itch to go riding. Already looking forward to your next video (and I will be re-watching some of your past videos). Au revoir 🚵♂️
Hi Mike! Thank you so much for all your excellent videos of cycling all the iconic climbs in the French Alps. On 29 Aug I’ll be leaving Canada to fulfill a dream of climbing those legendary Tour de France climbs arriving at the Geneva Airport on the 30 Aug and transporting myself to two base points with the first being Bourg d’Oisans for 6 days and then to Bourg Saint Maurice for 6 days. On the list are Alpe d’Huez, Col de Telegraphie, Col de Galibier, Col de Glandon, the Col de la Croix de Fer and the Cormet de Roseland. Any advice regarding weather conditions normally at this time of year, the best approach roads and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 😊
Hi Gary You've chosen a great time of the Summer to visit as the roads will be quieter and the brutal heat of the Summer should be subsiding. It sounds like you have a fantastic itinerary. Happy to look over your plans in some more detail and I invite you to contact me through our website www.breathebike.com/ Thanks for watching, Mike
