Our last day at Smoky Bay. S.A. turned it on big time! With no idea where to go to find a feed of King George Whiting we moved around a few times until we found an epic spot which turned into one of the best sessions we've had in ages!!
A full mixed bag of 5-star eating, gave some away to our neighbours in the caravan park and was even able to freeze a few fillets for those down days!
We left them biting, packed up and left Smokey to keep punching east towards Kimba.

A mouth full of squid juice and one of the most epic inshore fishing sessions I’ve ever seen. Both of you slayed it!!! I can’t believe haul, epic. 🎣 🍻.

Yeah mate was a good session hey! I would of grabbed some oysters but it's probably the only seafood I don't eat mate 😬. Lot's of crew there froth'n on them though

Haha yeah mate! We gave most of the crabs away and vacuum sealed some of it to give to family. Was bloody tasty though those KG's!

I was looking at getting shirts like that last week for work. We must think the same. And you ask me for advice on fishing in SA hahah. You dont need it mate. Just drop a line, and you'll be fine. Moments like those i wish i was there. You can catch King George around the 47cm to 50cm mate. Might just have to go out a little deeper. Or just move around. But you both done well. Times i have baged 15 squid in less than 2 hours. Great fishing, both of you. Now you have a good reason to stay longer hahaha. Love it 👌

Yeah we bought a couple online to test out (future merch maybe...dunno) they are hardy as so far. Ha yeah that south coast has been epic! Is always a bit of a challenge moving places so often and trying to work out where to go. Locals are great over here in helping point in the right direction. 👍👍 S.A. is the roof topper capital of the World! Haha
