Originally just a day’s trip to Elkhart to hang out with my buddies @WabashWesternRails1 & @On_Track_With_Chris, I ended up meeting some other folks there as well, and those guys would be my boys @RailfanVince, @ElkhartRailfanner, & @railfanningrailproductions! With over 30 trains caught throughout the entire day cycle, Elkhart did not disappoint us! Throughout the day, we managed to get three good catches: an Ex-UP SD45 leading the eastbound Grand Elk 302, Amtrak’s 50th Anniversary unit 46, and the best catch of the day was definitely the NS Interstate Heritage Unit leading NS 29P! What an awesome day to start wrapping up my railfanning adventures of 2023! Enjoy the video!
