In this video I got to surf another pumping day at one of the best waves in the world with friends from home. Ive been traveling for a couple months now so it was nice to see some familiar faces. This day was pretty uncrowded in comparison to the other days of surfing. Something that's been hanging in my mind this trip was spearfishing. During my surf I saw a huge school of Uhu AKA Parrot fish, that was the deciding factor to grab the dive gear and see what lurks bellow. I dive for about an hour or 2 without shooting anything but was very mesmerized with how alive the reef was. I even checked out the general area of where the wave breaks and it was a bit spooky to see all the jagged corral heads waiting for you. I ended up getting lucky with my favorite fish on the reef called a MU. I don't only love eating these fish but I also really enjoy the hunt. They are very smart but luckily I have a technique that I have been working on over the years.
