That’s awesome Lou!!!!! You’re in a rare club of people that get to experience that stuff. While I don’t fly that high at my job, I did manage to capture a green spot at sunset on the west coast at 11,500 feet. It was really cool as well and took me 11 years to finally capture it.

As a dude that’s been in the crane and rigging business for almost 30 years, an avid outdoorsman I have witnessed my share of sunrises and I have to admit it’s always been something I’ve admired. It has definitely inspired me when I needed it and I have always stopped to admire it knowing it’s one of kind. I can only imagine the hundreds if not thousands of sunsets/sunrises you’ve experienced at that kind of elevation, geeeesh that’s awesome. Thanks AGAIN for another stellar video.

This is absolutely breathtaking. I wanted to be a pilot (took ground school when I was 15) but I made choices when I was young that made my dream impossible. When I watch this, I feel in complete awe and gratitude. To me, this is my own version of heaven. Thank you for sharing this 🙏
Absolute bliss. Always mesmerising and just sends you into complete calm. We have discussed in the group just what those inboard and outboard contrails do to relax the mind and soul and with the added sunrise the clip is just awesome. Cool video as always.

I remember flying the Pacific from Taiwan to San Francisco when I lived in Taipei from 1995 to 2000 as a diplobrat. Definitely Remember the china airline/united days. It always was an adventure as a kid. My parents let my siblings and I ride alone a few times over the Pacific to see my grandparents in Texas. Your videos bring back good memories. I even saw a Russel's viper, Chinese cobra and a bamboo viper, in our yard on yangmingshan. Saw I think it was a 100 foot pacer viper in the front where all the kids played too!

This is so awesome. I've seen some really nice stuff in Flight Simulator and it's always made me want to see it in real life and this video did just that.
Beautiful I almost miss it. Seen it a few hundred times...just like that. Nicely done! It brought back how the body feels at that point in a flight( transpacific eastbound)
