@gluse they are manual so it has to stay at a floor with it open, if someone wants to use it, they have to go to a floor where the elevator is, the one was broken, so thats why it didnt work
Apparently, according to the J-guy, you needed to hold down a button labeled generator or something like that on the crank until you heard the generator start, then it should have worked. They were never keyed-off, & no wonder you didn't see a key.
THAT SUCKS LIKE CRAP!!!! How would anyone be able to access the freight elevators without any call buttons and how did you get in there? But more importantly how would anyone be able to use it if it doesn't move? MY OH MY!!!!
