thank you for sharing. i am a novice at the craft. the video saved me from chucking the whole thing out the door. my sanity is going forward to try another day.
Thanks for sharing your fail. Many times when people are new to a craft and they're looking for examples, they don't see failures; so that when it happens to them they become disappointed. Love the remix.
Hi Dean, I appreciate the fact that you took the time (most people don't like to share their ''fails'') and shown how to transform a defective product into something else and ti'S trully amazing, looks like the Earth. Have you contacted the supplier to ask what happened ?
Thank you. The supplier would not be able to help me. I assume they would blame the fragrance or dye I used or my technique to make layers. But really my supplier just sells the supplies.
@@DeanWilson hi... same happened with me. What's the reason and why this happened? Because after this i m very upset. Could u plz help me out why this happnd
Mr wilson, I found that when making multiple loads of soap it is best to use crock pots, this way the soap will not get cold on you and it keeps you from remelting your soap.
The new design looks like alaska. Or sea / ocean on a windy day with lots of tide. I would love this kind of soap to have a smell of ocean too. It would make the perfect soap for summers.
Turned out awesome. Reminds me very much of the view of the water I had when I was on a cruise ship a couple months ago. All churned up but beautiful swirly patterns.
Great video you show what happens when things don't work out and how to turn it around beautiful soap I would call call it hurricane a great storm you survived and came out better ! see ya on fb this is a learning class for sure
I love these soaps! The first thing that came to mind was to call is "ocean storm" since the colors are ocean and sand and the swirls are gorgeous! :) great job!
reminds me of the ocean, when a wave crashes and you have the foam and different shades of water all blending and swirling together. they look awesome!!
I actually love the remix more than I do the original. edit: its 9 months later and I agree with my original comment, but also want to add that when you pulled them from the molds, they reminded me of the river banks in New Hampshire, USA. Which I grew up playing on. So thank you for a reminder of the place that I once called home😁
I love it...almost better then the original intention lol....no matter what you do Dean it’s incredible to me ! But tytyty for sharing this....good to know it happens to all of us 🤗💕
Looks great! If that would have been me I probably would have cried and got mad. My daughter who is 8 wants to make soap so I am trying to watch all the videos i can on melt and pour. :) So far i have you and ann marie from soap queen tv
I made my first soap on Christmas Eve. Three layers of m&p shae with charcoal in the top layer, plain white in the second and rose clay in the third. I forgot to spray with alcohol before pouring the third layer. We poured into the 12 bar soap mold. The third layer came off while we were unmolding the bars. I didn't think to remelt and repour. Going to try that! Thanks for sharing your sucesses, experiments and mistakes with us!! What NOT to do is just as important as what to do, and seeing the results of both is quite educational! Appreciate all your videos!
Epic success!!! . Yes. Please show us more of what not to do. Too often we see the perfect results on RU-vid and wonder where we went wrong ( and nobody tells you what you can do to fix it!) This design is definitely more beautiful than the original
I think this turned out even better than the original design. I love the marbling effect. I would surmize the seperation of the layers in the original design could be because you may have forgotten to spray the lower layer with rubbing alcohol before you poured the new layer on top. That had happened to me before. Either way the repurposed loaves look Great. Awesome Job :) !
Even though it was a fail at the first batch..the recreation was a fantastic design.. I can call it "strom" men's collection soap bar😊 nice work..I learned a lot from your videos..and I always love the color combinations.. Thank you for the video
I love what you did with the remelt! The colors and swirls are gorgeous! I hope all is well with you, after your surgery. Take care! I can't wait for the next video! xoxo
I love it Dean reminds me of the ocean waves splashing hence the name Hawaiian Breeze hope you're doing better after your surgery healing well I hope sending bright blessings always
Beautiful,it is really stunning Last week a few of my soap fell apart because of the salt so I remelt and created a new design. Melt and pour is Kool to work with.
Hi Dean - You are the best. I have watched a lot of videos, and you are the only one who will acknowledge that sometimes, it does not turn out as you expected. I tried my first 'loaf' soap and it was horrible, but I know what I did wrong. I remelted and poured into individual molds. I will try again however. Thanks for your help to amateurs like me .
