EPIC FAIL!!! The skating rink is dead. 

Buddy,Im up here in Bancroft Ontario.The river running threw town always freezes,not this year.the lakes just froze,but there are no shacks on the ice up here.Not a good Idea.

I completely understand your frustration. I build a rink every year and it’s a struggle. ODR is a lot of work for a very short season. I’m currently clearing 4ft of snow that is more than my equipment can handle. I’m at 8000 ft in the Gore Range mountains of Colorado. Best of luck next season. El Niño!

Do you think putting the plastic over the outer frame instead of under it would be better? I wonder if that would help with the loss of water.

Sorry this was such a struggle. On a positive note summit lake is frozen over. A little lumpy but lots of smooth spots if you search.
