this is a truly epic match for real, both teams played another best of 3 earlier, both tired from the triple overtime in Ancient, both teams almost running on fumes at the end.. I'm also glad that Buzz' potential is showing, I want to remind everyone that his first ever round in a tier1 match is a pistol ace against Vitality

I thought signing borup would be a bad choice. All i know from him was that there was a reason Heroic benched him. But after watching the past few astralis games, he is a BEAST. His aim is crisp
Heroic went through a phase where they kept players for a little while and then benched them. Same with refresh. I guess they just wanted to wait until they had 5 players that vibes well or something

I agree. Tbh the kind of trash talk done here is mild, and you can clearly see Navi laughing at it in the beginning. Its mostly stuff like "where are you", "whats up", complimenting your own play etc. It was common to stand up and shout over the monitor at the early CS tournaments in Denmark 20 years ago, but only within reason - civilized trash talk. To me that is not toxic. I hope we see more of it.
NaVi looked so tired, this match ended pst 1 AM after playing a game earlier that day. Either way NaVi has sooo much quality film to go over and im excited to see them after they study it and practice

@@smarazza Navi has beaten weakest teams in this tournament, OG and Faze. That too OG almost won first map and won another 2nd map and that could go 2-1 for them..FAZE is just really bad in this tournament and navi beating 2-0 was nothing surprising.......NAVI didn't even face big teams like vitality, g2, heroic and they already lost to 2 teams says all how they aren't really that good

I would love to see a Cloud9 vs Astralis grand final. It would be refreshing instead of seeing the usual teams😄 Astralis are playing very well but Navi may need to sort out their player roles a bit as iM seems to be struggling.
Yall gotta remember this navi squad changed 3 players including the igl, switched languages, and has had barely any time to gel together. Jl just said yesterday that the guys don't even know each other personally at all yet. I did not expect them to be this damn competitive this early. Some of yall act like this team has been together for a while or something. S1mple is happy and playing great and the team is coming together. Once they get enough practice and tourneys under their belt, I think this team could be damn good.
Do you happen to know vita also change three players and did not use language as an excuse although zywoo English is bad? If you think you got the right players with the structure to tweak, people will say positively. Have you thought why there are negative opinions from the community and the hltv analysts? If there potential, people will naturally say build on that, say for example, if cloud9 were to lose with axile to vita this Friday, I won't say much because they got the right players but need time and tweak to do well. This Navi lineup and structure is why people think negatively

b0RUP is a good replacement for xyp9x, he is calm and he has smart plays and gamesense as well. All the team seems to be influenced by dev1ce a lot, now his Mission is possible with the helps from sidekicks.

He didn't push through a smoke, he pushed into the one blameF threw thinking blameF screwed up on the smoke. He could've also wanted to make sure he denied the defuse just in case blameF masked the defuse sound with the molotov extinguish.
Its a team. Aleksi shouldnt have had to clutch. Relying on clutches is a 50/50 you could lose. He assumed the time was too close for blamef to peak cave.

Bit disappointed,but It happens. Hopefully the team resets and comes back stronger Beacuse they have the potential. Also iM NEEDS TO WAKE THE HELL UP, that ct round where he died to blamef was so brutal to watch. iM supposed to be electronics replacement, we know what hes capable of, he just needs to work much harder than his team in this period, because navi needs excellency from iM, not mediocrity
Team definitly still has time for 2-3 more Events but it just said to see after Banger final last year in cologne and this year not even in the playoffs.
iM was brought in to be a star rifler. He's currently averaging below 1.0 rating on Navi, that's not a star rifler. I know, the team is still very very VERY young and I'll still give them a couple more events until I am seriously concerned but this has to be somewhat alarming, no?
No, I don't think so because I still think Navi got the wrong pieces. Im playstyle is about the same as bit and bit failed that star entry role last year and this year. Their playstyle is more passive and rely on team to open the space for now. If you observe some rounds where bit was deadly this tournament is when there's were spaces especially the mid rounds. What Navi needs is an igl which can help organize the CTs well and also a star entry player like Niko and frozen etc. You can wait after esl pro League, which by then will as peel more clearly what the team lacks

I mean, I only watch Astralis' games because that device fella is rly cute, so I thought "handsome dude's team against one of the best teams in the world, this might be good", but wow, that was a great series, had a lot of fun watching it and device was looking very good, and playing very good too I guess

We were in the group of death and still were highly competitive. Navi looks damn good I think they're only gonna get better

Still remember those times when NaVi or any other team had no chance and now people say NaVi was tired because they lost. No they are not on the level of heroic or vitality on a good day. If astrails didn't die 3-4 rounds while planting the bomb they would've won a lot sooner. Angers me watching them die back to back trying to plant the bomb right in the open and lined up like ducks.
iM looks kinda deflated, he's had many rough games in terms of personal performance so not sure what's going on really. Astralis has been pretty impressive so far, fairytail run?
Fairy tail implies that it's flukey, and considering all their games they have probably been the most consistent compared to any other team, much of that in appreciation to Devve. I genuinely think this Astralis team has lots of potential to make deep runs, but not too sure if it'll be enough to win trophies. Havent seen them go up against some other teams in particular yet
I mean, I like what they're doing right now, but I just wanna ask about the old tricks(like open two doors at the same time to confuse the enemys) would still work nowadays or not.
