That was a heartbreaking defeat, they were so close to win 2-0 at Overpass. It's so cool to see underdog teams playing very well against the top teams, i hope they keep playing like this.
If you want to see underdogs win, Heroic is a very bad team to root against :D. That's their whole thing, not losing these kind of matches. If their opponent was Vitality or G2, Mongolz would've definitely won.
Not anymore now that they've shown their hand/ general playstyle... Rather, I think teams are going to struggle to find an answer, esp. if 910 becomes a bit more consistent. They already very clearly understand the macro, now it's just about tightening up their micro until it's unbreakable (if they can, anyway). They were unbelievably close to beating one of the best t1 teams out there when only 6-8 months ago we were hyping them up for far less inspiring wins... If blitz doesn't get poached we could very well be seeing an asian version of kabum's old story of underdogs becoming kings unfolding

They are respectful but their game isn't that respectful they push smokes, molly multiple times not respecting it, which was necessary to fight against heroic

They need to be picked up by an Org. Because MongolZ isn't an org... perhaps EG should they drop the NA team... its an upgrade on both sides. MongolZ have a certified spot in tournaments, and EU/NA Practice. Or perhaps Team Secret.

I really wanted Heroic to win, but boy did the Mongolz gave them a run for their money! Blitz and Techno4k are absolute beasts! I'm sure that soon this team will become the one to beat!

It's kinda funny that people thinking that the "disrespecting smoke" equals to "disrespectful play". Casters coined the term "disrespecting smoke" to make it more interesting to the audience as a jargon and smokes mustn't always be disrespected. Would you call the prime Stewie2k disrespectful just because he was walking/running through smokes or mollies? No, right? (Well he actually was disrespectful time to time). For me, disrespectful play is teabagging or spraying on the corpse of your opponent/counterpart or buying p90 and rushing b (like heroic did against some tier2 team) which is I'm completely fine with.
Same like that nine game against ence the better team in the match chocked when they were supposed to close the game.. These teams should not compete against these top teams because 99% of the times they will choke 😑😑 and is not fair because they deserved to win..
Im not sure how this tournament works, so what happens next with these two teams especially Mongolz? Will Mongolz continue playing or are they out of the tournament?
