andrea clean the inside of the kettle with toilet cleaner it gets all the lime scale off and brings it up spotless

OMG I had no idea that Angela Rippon was behind Victoria Plum! I was born ‘76 so right slap bang in the middle of many childhood memories (And strawberry Shortcake!).

I like the dishwasher sound. The lighting is perfect. Some lovely items. I like the bowl and the flower frog together. Although not a perfect match, they coordinate very well, and the flowers will hide the flower frog anyway.

Hello I'm new to your channel (subscribed;) and am enjoying the journey. I live in EA as well and love the ole' second hand shopping. Don't normally get much bric-a-brac because of postage concerns. I wondered if you use royal mail and if you have any advice on secure safe posting of breakables, any suggestions greatly appreciated. All the best K:)

Hi, yes we use Royal Mail. My advice would be to wrap in bubble wrap or something similar, then wrap the item in cardboard and surround with lots of void fill/padding around it to take the impact if it is dropped or bashed.

The curtains do look like a William Morris pattern, have you looked inside at the selvedge on the fabric? That may give an indication of the maker/design.

Found 4 of his mugs in a charity shop once, they were a punk range with quotes like 'Sex Mugs and Rock N Roll' and 'Smells like Tea Spirit' they were like the standard mugs but with a hole where you could thread a safety pin. I think 4 cost me £3 and sold each for between £20-£30 - a great find!
