Although Boomie definitely didn't give his all in this tournament, I would like to bring up in that 1st clip of him vs Sting Ray that's not actually a throw, if you watch Boomie and Sting Ray's previous matches you will notice a lot of times Boomie fools Sting Ray by not dodging, this works on Sting Ray more than most people because Sting Ray usually is very thirsty for dodge reads, and if you go for a dodge read and someone doesn't dodge then you're at a disadvantage. *tl;dr* Boomie probably wasn't actually throwing when he did that, he's done that strategy [not attempting to get out of an escapable string] against Sting Ray successfully quite a few times before.
