Epic hang gliding & Paragliding flight at Cliffside (near Goldendale & Rufus, Oregon) Turbines farm

Cliffside was absolutely epic yesterday! Light wind most of the time and the perfect ESE & SE direction made the big hill soarable for miles, extending all the way to the further east side. When we arrived at noon, paragliders were already taking to the skies. Neil had a short flight around 2 pm and then joined us for another session around 4 pm, which included four hang gliders (John, Steve, myself) and numerous paragliders. The smooth ridge lift mixed with widespread thermals that made climbing above the turbines remarkably easy, especially when flying close to the hill. I reached a maximum altitude of 3,300 feet and flew over to the Oregon side before heading back to land.
