At least he died early rather than getting sacrificed to sylla or a jaded polites being a part of the mutiny and watching Odysseus choose to sacrifice him and the crew.
I love all the songs in your musical, but oh my gosh, Steven's voice just straight up makes my heart sing and just makes you believe in all the goodness of the world. I could listen to him sing this for hours on repeat. I would love to hear him do "Let Me Be Your Light" someday..
I think my favorite part about Steven’s performance is that you can just tell by audio alone how big of a smile he’s got at all times. It’s so wholesome, he’s such an awesome casting choice
When Steven was singing "here we have a chance for some adjustments give it a try it's not that hard" jay looks into the camera like a proud father I swear 😂😊
Steven is absolutely amazing, his vibes and his voice and his sweetness is just... EVERYTHING. You can see it in the rest of the cast too, the way they smile and get hyped when he hits those high notes.

Polites' lines have been in my head for weeks man. His voice is so upbeat and fun and that mixed with the different keys he sings the chorus in are so damn catchy. Then add in the emotional destruction that usually occurs when you hear these words and it gets even better
I did NOT realize it was “Look at how you grip your sword, enough said” I thought it was, “Look at how you grip your sword in upset” Like Odysseus was clearly perturbed about something that Polites was picking up on, perhaps his own actions. Then again, it still implies Polites is picking up on something, just not as overtly as I’d initially assumed.
