I believe the rape part is more a responsibility of social norms and fucked up views of the people coming up with the stories than the actual god, plus his domain contains government and kingship, both just and unjust, so of course there's going to be stories where he abuses his power
I love how full of himself Zeus is. He doesn't even address Odysseus until the second verse, he just talks all about how he's the top dog and he does and gets what he wants.

There is a reason he is my favorit. He has pretty much the only classically trained voice while especially Athens and Hermes sound very modern . . . To each their own but my love for music and own singing style are classical
Love this song. I'm the first person to make fun of Zeus, but there was a reason he was so feared/respected back in the ancient world and this song and Luke's voice shows that. so excited to hear this final version. Also, Armando and Steven are the best XD

Amazing singing aside, I love these Lyrics. Its supposed to be a metaphor about how Zeus sees through mortals pride and delights in tearing them down, but the way he talks about pride like a cornered woman almost reveals more about him then about Odysseus. King of the gods, lord of the bastards, really a perfect representation of all Zeus stands for.

I just realized this, but when Luke/Zues starts unbuttoning the top of his shirt, Armondo/Eurylochus grabs the top of his shirt, pulls it, and turns away from the camera lol 😂😂😂 I also love the fact that he's as straight as a rod (not a lightning rod) and tight body posture, and right after he blows the kiss, slouch's and becomes loose, he's so into it!!! I also appreciate the fact that Luke captured the unhinged-ness of Zues, but still kept it PG
I thought Zeus voice was made through effects 😮 amazing how well the tone and voice fit the character and since the 1st song of Zeus is already out, truly excited for the full and end versions of the other songs like this 🎉
