The fact the Killua was already really strong when he met Gon, and they still managed to find a way to develop his character AND his power, is an amazing fact in itself
@@JT-qw1cn yeah cause when he got his Nen, he only ever faced opponents who were really skilled with Nen, so it became a challenge lol but he developed his abilities enough to compete, and pretty damn quick
@@JT-qw1cnwhat about killua giving challenge to 2 royal guards, are they normies? even morel, knuckle and other pro hunter having a hard time facing them. they are not ordinary character by the way, they're using nen for a long time. but killua give youpi a shock of his life, imagine if killua's experience with the nen same with knuckle and morel, his ability (electricity) do not need to charge again.
@@user-uf9xk1uv2z listen brud i will laugh at what i so choose. It was, in fact, that funny. To me. If you dont think it was then thats chill, but move on instead of saying something dude lmao
Killua has so many qualities that make him one of the best deepest and well thought out characters in anime history: He is a kid who is very strong but warm, very scary but cute scary, his evil side is just plain cool and badass, He is rebellious but obedient and loyal to his loved ones, He could be a cold killer but also kind and romantic. It is a miracle that all these qualities can fit into a kid character which I doubt there is one like him in Anime.
@@celeste6241 because of the needle in his head, that his father knew about. he knew that eventually against more difficult opponents, he would betray Gon and at that point, return home
Thinking about all the awesome characters and possible fights between them makes me sad 'cause... :(... but, oh well... We'll probably just have to wait for about 10 years aahahahaha and maybe we'll get 1 decent fight
Hasn't it already surpassed naruto? In term of story flow and very distinct characters, pretty much no character are like another. And also all the different designs. The idea is also pretty original to me.
Jenny Nguyen The idea of the story? As far as story goes it isn't that original or unique, but the way it plays out is unique as hell. Not having the main character defeat many of the major villains (hell Gon didn't even meet Meruem), having an entire arc where Gon is pretty much an afterthought despite being a major goal (Election). The villain not defeated in an epic grand final battle but ultimately killed by poison. Or even Gon and Killua entering Heaven's Arena for the sole purpose of Gon punching Hisoka. This was even poked at in the series when the lady tried to get Gon and Killua interested in fighting a Floor Master, only for them to not care and only focus on Gon's fight with Hisoka. The series has a very unique way of going about with it's plot. As far as depth, and variety, HxH beats Naruto for sure. Naruto isn't "terrible" per say, but it certainly has plummeted down considerably. HxH has been consistently good. It has its flaws, some minor, and some major, but all stories have flaws, it's what makes them great stories to begin with. It just depends on how those flaws are tackled upon.
The zoldyck siblings share a name scheme where the middle syllable is lu and the start of a younger siblings name is with the end of the previous one . Illumi>Milluki>Killua>Alluka>Kalluto Now in an alternate universe I'd like to imagine Killua is instead spelt Killuwa and Is hence I may conclude that walluigi is a long lost member of the zoldyck family.
It's actually amazing that Killua still manage to grew up to be a good kid with kind heart and on top of that he could still smile and be carefree. I mean since he was little all he knew and see are his entire family killing people everyday for money. And he himself were trained to be an assassin as well and were sent out to kill. It was all they put on his head. He wasn't even allowed to have friends. And to make matters worse he have an obsessed older brother in the form of Illumi who always mess with his head. Imagine how badly he could have turn out to be? I feel like his kindness, his loyalty and love for his friends were greatly underestimated by most characters on the show. The kid was tortured since young and the fact he can still be as happy and carefree as Gon (who grew up being well loved in his village) is a huge feat. And in the end he put himself and his family in danger and risk everything just to save Gon who self-destructed.
Asui with gun lol one of the first episodes when they introduce themselves to each other killua said he only talk to gon cuz he was 12 just like him😂😂😂 really 9 LMFAO
Well the manga continues, only that you will have to wait for the anime to continue xd since there are no fillers they have to wait for enough material from the manga, and unfortunetly it's not far ahead, but think about the 1999 series it took 12 years to continue where it left, but it was worth
Killua is honestly one of the most realistic and relatable characters even though he has such an odd growing up. He deserved much better than what he was treated with. He is a kind and loyal person. He doesn’t want others to deal with burdens he has but doesn’t want them to worry. He has anxiety and stress and gets pressured constantly but still gets through it. One of the reasons I can’t like gon is because he doesn’t care about loyalty to friends, he opens his mind to interest not family or friends. He will put things at risk even if it’s right or not because he wants something to happen.
I want Killua to have an epic fight. So far his opponents haven't been very interesting, I can see him fighting against Illumi. I think Illumi is going to be the the final obstacle for Killua to overcome.
The dynamics of the Zoldyck family don’t allow for that kind of confrontation. If Killua killed Illumi then Zeno, Zilva, and a certain great great grandparent could get involved, he wouldn’t risk it.
Not really "epic" moments, but the time when Gon and Killua introduces themselves to Kite's ragtag team of amateur hunters is one of my favorite moments XD
YT - Rhianna Oof, that was such a simple, but great scene. Heartbreaking, and kind of aggravating cause Kite's awesome! But yeah, Kite will live on... that's for sure.
+Kalasha Can't even take this comment seriously. Without sasuke their wouldn't be an itachi log....naruto wouldn't have gotten stronger etc stfu with this dumb ass comment.
+Kalasha Sasuke brought itachi into the mix first naruto season "I'm an avenger." Speech to Kakashi.....no one knew about the uchiha massacre if it wasn't for sasuke madara wasn't a thought in the first naruto series so don't say anything about that....No sasuke = no itachi without sasuke the Indra and ashura plot would be nothing either hence sasuke is the only to compare with naruto....you calling him a gay emo? That alone tells you haven't been through anything in life which would help you bring some type of understanding on why this character became what he was.....just think about this SLOWLY if someone KILLED your whole family and you knew who it was,you wouldn't have some type of anger towards that person? Plot some type of revenge? If you say no to these I could tell you have a lack of understanding towards sasuke's character scheme.
CANT believe we never saw Alluka interact with Kurapika. Man, i really wanna see that, cause, ya know, i'm not a Conservative/Republican, so im kinda not having LGBT-Hate or Trans-Denial as a Core-Trait of my squishy little Being.
Love how whenever you see killua actually looking like he is in danger you know he just gonna be smiling and saying "Well you see that won’t work because _______" in 3 seconds.
I think im the only one that realized characters with white hair always have a name that stays with a K. Kakashi, killua, kankei, kaguya, kanade tachibane,Komugi, kimimaru, kinshiki, kite from hxh...the list goes on
+Caleb Adams His pants are obviously made of nonsensoleum. That's why they don't break the laws of physics and form a large mound over Newton's grave from the constant tumbling of his angry corpse.
One of the most epic Killua moment is when he manages to remove Illumi's needle. Took him astronomical resolve to counter Illumi's manipulator skill, which is his signature talent.
what an absolute beast. i'll be honest early on i thought he would go back to his roots and later have to fight gon or some shit- i wasn't expecting a wholesome friendship but i'm glad i got it
He's been my favorite anime character eversince I first lay my eyes on him and I was only in grade 6 back then. Yep. Elementary and until now that I'm turning 28, nothing change man. I've seen lots of new characters in every anime that i watched but still, no one one catches my attention and my heart like Killua did. lol.. that's so cheesy but so true. ♥
I'm sure I'm not the first to mention this, but I've always thought that: Gon = Naruto (unyielding optimism, never knew his parents, super into friendship), Killua = Kakashi (white hair, assassination skills and lightning moves) and Kurapika = Sasuke (last of his clan, out for revenge, weird eye powers). There's other little similarities I noticed as well, but I'm guessing Hunter X Hunter inspired Naruto to some degree.
+WyomingPTT it was rumored a lot when Naruto started that it was a straight rip off of HxH. especially when you realise that the naruto story stopped being similar and dropped in quality when Naruto overtook HxH. No one complained though. who wouldn't want to see his favourite shounen in another setting with a similar story
This is actually one of the greatest animes I've ever seen. There has been too many animes lately that are so lazily done but are SUPER popular. Seeing this one made me realize that there are animes out there that aren't full of overpowered main characters and boring character arcs. This has also been one of the most original animes I've watched, considering the original series is made before shows like Naruto and so on.
Honestly, HxH is a masterpiece, madhouse and their freelancers really did this justice. The way they portray each character, develop the story, and make us curious as to what exists beyond.. its amazing
