@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors Thanks for caring about the welfare of the dogs. I hope the dogs were healthy, and were able to find furever homes. Thanks for rescuing Randy the Racoon.
Enjoying your videos Mark! I'm glad you reported the dogs and took care of the baby racoon too! It's so sad what you find while cleaning these properties.
You did a fantastic job on this yard Mark. The baby racoon was so cute. Im glad that you rescued it, and went to a rehabilitation place that helps wildlife. I hope you have a great day ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.
We named him LUCKY, the rehabilitation center is certified by the DNR and can house up to 20 raccoons. They had 19 when we reached out. He is with friends!
Great work, thanks for rescuing that baby raconteur, wonder where the adults were. Also, those dogs worried me, if house is vacant they shouldn’t be there. Hope they are alright. Australia 🇦🇺 😊
AGREED. Not sure where the adult raccoons were, I had been there about an hour when my daughter found the little guy. He's in a good hands now and well taken care of.
Also a new subscriber. You’re the first one that doesn’t use a zero turn mower from what I can tell that I’ve been watching over the past year about it does a different lawn restoration people. I enjoy them and I enjoy your work. They’re all hard workers just like you! By the way, that big knife suspiciously looks like a short machete. I’ve seen a couple of other lawn care people use them for chopping down, big weeds and small trees along the fence line. Also, a little tip I’ve seen from other videos, get one of those big green bags for Lawn waste. Be easier to haul off. 😁
Thanks for the Sub, I just use what I have to help people. I have a large compost at home, that why I usually just toss stuff on my trailer. Thanks for dropping a comment!
I certainly would call the police about the dogs inside an abandoned house!!! It's not fair to the animals possibly with NO water or food!!! BEAUTIFUL JOB ON CLEAN UP!!!
WATCH the entire video ALL the way to the end. All of your questions AND concerns will be answered. Stop commenting BEFORE you have done that. He tells you what happens to the domesticated and the wild animals.
I think we are all in agreement that its a shame what happened to the homeowner. Also guessing the person going in and out did not have permission thus the knife and the lack of concern by the local authorities. thank you for your concern and diligence in doing what you could. What state are you in?
Update please about the dogs. Monitoring isn't action. Call animal services. Your wife "took action" for the baby raccoon. Same should be done about dogs.
The dogs were gone the next night when I stopped to try to get into the backyard. The raccoon went to a Rehabilitation Center licensed by the DNR. Info is at the end of the video.
@@LeavingAMarkOutdoors ...Couldn't animal control be called instead, and let them know there are dogs living inside a vacant house? I would think they would/should act upon something like that to try to rescue them, or at least investigate to see what's going on. I don't know what neighborhood services is, but by the sound of their name, do they even have any legal authority to do anything about or with the dogs? How long would they monitor them, and then what would they do? It just doesn't sound right to me, but I don't know that much about that kind of thing.
I would have called animal services to get those dogs. That's a shame nobody has taken care of those poor animals. You can't tell me the neighbors don't hear them dogs barking and didn't do nothing.
It’s obvious those dogs are not being attended to so someone should call the authorities and have them taken out of the house so they can be taken care of….
I'm sorry, I know you called some place about the dogs and we're told they are "monitoring the situation" What situation?! For them to die?! They need food and water. What's the temperature in the apartment? And so on... Can you please update about the dogs. I'm glad your wife and kids took care of the baby raccoon immediately, but the dogs need as much concern. I'm sure you're a very nice person, but it did not come through in this video.
Wow, shocked you would judge my character, I volunteer time and money to help others. I work a full time job, have 5 children and don't miss any of my kids functions. Curious how much you do to help others? Also, was I supposed to break into the house?
How awful to abandon animals, glad you found them. A baby raccoon should go to a wild life rehab. I hope you are wearing hearing protection while using those loud machines.
Great job on the yard.... Why did you not call the cops and pounds on those dogs or whatever else was in that house? They were probably hungry n abandoned. VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️ Also a raccoon isn't a domestic animal for a family. 😮
Fairly new sub here. Great job on this property. My only complaint is the click-bait title. Yes the homeowner is deceased, but it’s not like they are still in the home rooting away as the title of your video implies. Please do better. I understand you do it for getting views, but really? Let your work speak for itself. Finally, animal control needs to come and get the dogs. That is one thing that you should push back on the city. That is animal abuse. Treat the dogs as well as you treated the baby raccoon.
Thanks for the comments and thoughts, although I wish I could, unfortunately I can't just walk into the home and take the dogs. I did notify Neighborhood Services.
It would of been nice if you had called animal control first and waited for them, so that us as viewers could see them take care of the animals, The lawn could of waited. Just saying... the lawn could of been mowed shorter and the edging done neater
Acting like you are going to drink that beer in front of the little boy is not a good example, if he finds a partially empty drink on the ground he will drink it saying if you can he can There are all kinds of contagious diseases that can make him sick or worse
