Epic Magic in Slow-Motion! 🤯

It’s time to put my sleight of hand to the ultimate slow-mo test. I’ve filmed a series of magic tricks in front of my slow motion camera capturing footage at 360 frames per second (that’s 12 times slower than real-time).
Will the tricks work under such scrutiny?
Will I be exposed in slow motion?
Will I finally feel some form of validation?
Some of these questions will be answered.

people say knowing the secret ruins the magic, but i think sort of understanding how the trick is done or could be done adds an additioannl layer of appreciation

Well, even if you think you know how it's done it's not the case most of the time. What I mean is you probably don't know exactly how much pressure you must have, how each finger should be positioned, how you do to make it soundless, and everything

I was thinking a second coin already in the glass with a magnetic ring that he pulls away to break the bind. But I don't see a second coin being stolen away on the drop. Then it became more obvious after every replay. It's magic.

No, there is a second coin mate If you pause just after he let the coin go you see two coins. I did and I took a screenshot of the two coins. The second coin actually reaches down whilst the other coin is still visible up there

close but no. it IS magnetized and the coin he drops he drops into his HAND right after he taps the glass to disconnect it from the ring making the TING sound. then catching the top coin. the coin isn't making that sound at all in the glass.

Love this channel. When you frame by frame, you see the second coin so it's likely a magnet. The coin he drops hits the front of the cup and goes into his hand.

I agree with the sentiment of the color change trick. I've always tried to stay away from those types of card tricks because they feel less impressive to me as the magician, so I can only imagine how the spectator feels. The best kind of magic is the stuff that happens in front of the spectator's eyes or in their hands.

I agree but, I use color change. I don't make it the main trick though. Kinda, just do it when I'm showing the cards and let them notice it while I'm doing the routine to throw them off

Spoilers (maybe) Magnet in his hand during the coin in the glass trick. The outside coin drops, sticking to the magnet and blocking the magnetic energy, and the second coin gets blocked off from the magnet and falls

You can see the coin drops outside of the glass into his hand at the front while the other one inside the glass could be on a magnet. When you see the red card on top you can just see the blue cards on the side so the top card is likely cupped in the hand but regardless of this they are still amazing tricks 😁

Pretty sure that he drops the first coin into his hand and there is a magnet on his hand with a coin in the glass so when he pulls away his hand, the coin drops

If that's what's happening, there's a small detail you missed, it's not so much he dropped the coin into his hand, but it connects with the magnet as he pulls away from the glass and the magnet catches it

I think in the first one he made the coin fall on his laps and at the same time he was holding a magnet that attracted the coin that was on his other hand and moved it far from the coin so that it would fall and look like the first coin went trough the glass

The timing is off with the coin glass trick, the second coin drops before the first coin disappears. That could be a very good one of the timing is just a little better, though.

I think he either drops the coin off the table or as someone else pointed out - into his hand with the magnetic ring that was holding up the other coin inside the glass. It’s too weird of a hand motion for it not to be, but I dunno

U have 2 coins, one is magnetic inside the glass covered by ur hand the other is abovr tgat ur showing, ur ring is magnetic. Ppl bad at depth perception and so u drop the top coin into ur hand with the ring which is holding magnetic coin, as you cwtch the coin whoch is dropped, ur far enough way from the coin ur suspending that the coin inside the glass drops -- thus appearing as a single coin drop

On that coin one, he has a coin already inside that he's hiding with a magnet, probably that ring. The coin outside the glass is actually falling in front of the glass so it lands into his hand with the magnet. 0:22 or so there are a few slowed frames where you can see part of both coins at once

I think theres two magnetic coins, one in the glass, one being dropped. As he drops the coin onto the magnet he removes the magnet from the inner coin, which takes great timing

The ring is magnetic the second coin is in the glass already. The first coin is actually not dropped on to the glass it’s dropped into the hand and the magnet ring picks it up quickly without you noticing.

First one seems super clean in normal speed but in slowmo you can see the coin dropped infront of glass to catch on the magnetic ring as he releases the one from the magnet in the glass. If thats not it then its real magic

Coin in glass.. when its slowed way down you see coin being dropped, fall into hand while (im assuming magnetism) the coin inside the glass drops when the hand moves away from the glass to catch the first coin

Ok here’s the secret in my understanding His magnetic ring is holding 1st coin inside the glass and 2nd coin he fist taps on top of glass than drops it to his hand as he moves away so first coins drops inside the glass and 2nd coin sticks in his hand with magnetic ring may be I’m wrong but this is what I see.

The dropped coin lands behind the glass the circular depressions mask the fact that it lands on the table. Magnet ring etc.

He uses magnet to hold the fake coin through the wall of the glass. You can see him lifts the index finger side of his hand away from the glass which releases the fake coin. As this happens, he catches the first coin with the other hand.

He catches the dropped coin with his right hand. In his right hand is also a magnet (maybe attached to the ring) that holds a coin up on the inside of the glass. Once he removes his right hand from the side of the glass the inside coin drops. You can actually see both coins at the same time if you freeze frame right when the bottom one appear.
