Unless he has insider knowledge, it is only speculation at this point. The bricks isn't really a valid metric, since a lot of potential byers purposely waited for a potential deluxe edition. Here is to hoping, that after the release of Trigun, the next deluxe edition to be announce will be Gantz.
Question about those Berserk hardcovers: I have the first volume and naturally, at the back, it has the cover art for the first 3 original tankobon volumes also published by Dark Horse. However, starting with Vol. 22, Dark Horse started tipping in a little fold-out just inside the cover that was two full-color paintings each featuring a character from the series. Do the hardcovers have these? Since each omnibus comprises 3 of the tankobon per volume, I believe Omnibus 8 would be the first to have them. If they're there, there should be 9 color images. If they're not, that means I need to keep, not replace, the tankobon I have. Thanks in advance for your time.
They are there. I show some of them in the Manga hauls that has those volumes (8 and up), but to save you the time of looking through those just to get the answer, yes. And they look gorgeous in the hardcovers
@@Daidarius Thanks for the response, good to know they are in there. I'll always have to keep the special edition of Vol. 37 I managed to import from Japan. It came boxed with a Figma action figure of Guts in the wolf armor and has a little astral Schierke that hangs around his neck. Also, since we seem to have similar tastes, I highly recommend to add to your collection Golden Kamuy and Vagabond.
Jujutsu Kaisen is one of my faves. Highly recommend Nausicaa. I need one more deluxe Berserk to finish mine off, and after reading the last 5 latest HunterxHunter volumes, wow makes me wanna buy all of it cus both anime’s doesn’t always do it Justice. That is an insane collection, I only started collecting seriously around July of last year and Vinland Saga is at the top of my list of series to collect. Current Volumes: 218
Great collection. I'd say my favourites in mine are Berserk (singles) and Hunter x Hunter. If I owned One Piece it would be up there but I've only read it digitally in the SJ app. I bought quite a bit in 2023 but will scale it back this year and really just focus on picking up volumes I need to complete series and then continuing to buy the ongoing series I'm already collecting so I can stay up to date with them. Stone Ocean will be the main "new" series, even though it's not new, but you know what I mean. For volume count, I'm sitting on around 600.
Feel you on the catching up part. It seems like I always have one or two series I need to catch up on, so I just have to buy a volume when it comes out. Also looking forward to stone ocean
Well, my monthly budget is around $150-ish, so that combined with some good-ish deals on the more expensive volumes and the fact, that most of them are viz jump volumes made it possible.
are you upset that theyre releasing the vinland saga deluxes now that you own all those hardcovers? honestly im SO glad i never got any vinland now that deluxe 1 releases next month i preordered it cannot wait to finally dive in.
Not as much as you would think. The reason is that the 2-1 that I have are not only in hardcover, but the printing quality is actually good, and so is the size. If I didn't have them though, then I would go for the deluxe editions, but otherwise it doesn't bother me too much.

I think the ending fitted well with the theme of the story. I would just have loved for the battle up until the ending to be on par with the end of part one. Make it more nailbiting. But the actual ending for Light was spot on in my oppinion. 4. I have indeed watched it, and I'm not that impressed. The sets are well made, and the same for the costumes, but the cinematography makes it look like cheap theater work, which is a shame. And then there are the action, pacing, mood, at times acting, and more that just brings it down. However, there was a real heart to it, and everyone seems to really care about the source material, so I hope they improve in season 2, and if nothing else, I'm just glad that it exposes One Piece to more people. 5. They are indeed great. I actually don't think Eri is as open ended as some might think, but on the other hand, it could just be me intrepetating the ending in one way, and others in a different way, thus making it indeed open ended. 6. Well the cardgame is more of a powersystem tool in the manga than anything else, which makes it easier to digest if you're not a fan of the actual cardgame. And yes, it was a big loss with Takahashi, but at least he was trying to be a hero when it happened. I hope you can get back up to 100 again, even if the economy makes it a slower climb. And I'm glad that my videos helps even a little. And I'm always enjoying long comments, since they encourage more engaging discord.
