God damn, this game should've gotten so much more popular. It's just such an incredibly unique and imaginative take on your classic Disney. Plus it reintroduces Oswald to the world. Disney seriously need to recognize it more... a shame Junction Point got shut down
This game was dark for me as a child but I still loved it. I would always use the blue paint cuz I loved seeing my enemies become allies uncontrollably
Looking back, only the Hook fight was especially interesting. It was the only one that had two distinct paths, whereas every other boss involves hitting the same weak spots with either paint or thinner. Don't get me wrong, the aesthetic of the game is amazing. The balance between paint and thinner could have used a bit of work though.
All the fights were cool, but did you know Hook actually has THREE options to defeat him? You probably know about the paint one, saving the sprite, and the thinner one, sending him over his ship, but there is actually a SECOND thinner path, you know those black pirate bombs he tosses? If you keep using your spin attack to spin the bombs back at him, and keep sending him into walls enough times, something will happen, I found this out on my own as a kid.
The first one always was way more epic and hardcore. Some of the enemys like the big blot minion only appeared once in the second game while in the first they were normal enemys towards the end. I will never forget the last level when you face the blot in the castle with a whole army behind you. Made my childhood

Yeah, a remaster would be good to fix some of the problems. Like the lack of backtracking. It bumps me to this day that you can't re-enter some areas. Also they could reuse the sketch system of the Sequel in my opinion! :-)
Evan MacIntosh dude there was the level where you got to return to dark beauty castle but you had press buttons in a certain amount of time but I couldn’t beat it so I raged quit
This is the first game I played that I got scared of. I was so scared of the Clock Tower 😂 This game is so fun, even my mom played it and beat it, and she loved it!
The Paint Brush mechanic was never originally suppose to be Mickey's main method of "defending himself." Back in 06 when the game entered Early Alpha, the Gameplay footage shows Mickey harnessing ink from his own body as a means of defending himself and Mickey had a variety of different attacks where the more ink Mickey used the more it turned his body into different kinds of "concept art" which was a unique way of demonstrating the "health mechanic" where Mickey being fully rendered and shaded would show he was at full health, but low ink would make him look like a "draft sketch" with very thin art work which makes sense because he has no ink on his body. As cool as this was Iger, predictably hated the concept saying it was "too edgy" Another argument was how the original battle mechanics looked too similar to the game "Infamous" where it felt like a lot of Mickey's battle commands resembled Cole McGrath's. There is even a bit in the Game Demo where Mickey summons a massive Tidal Wave of Ink and it looks a lot like the "Dark Bomb" attack in Jak 2 and 3.
I remember playing the clocktower boss and always thought you HAD to kill with thinner because it’s arms had toon and you couldn’t paint already there toon and then I saw a video like this and immediately went and tried it out ASAP and my mind just collapsed.
This game seemed very dark to me as the theme and the plot . It was a amazing game that was not something many people expected from Disney . In other words I loved it .
I truly want this world to return . If it can't as a thorough new game, the concept could return in other games, such as: Kingdom hearts. It would be incredible if Sora, Donald, and Goofy traveled to wasteland, and meet Oswald as well as everyone.

AHHHH!!!! MAH GAME!!!! So glad this game is getting some love, It was one of my all time favorite Wii games. IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE IT BEING PLAYED AGAIN!! 😭❤️
So there are two choices for clock tower.1:destroy it with green paint. 2:use blue paint to help the clock tower. So what choices did you pick?like if you decided a choice
It is a shame that there was never a movie adaptation. It could have been a great way to officially reintroduce Oswald into the mainstream (and put Mickey into lead somethings other than preschool stuff again).
there are 3 games, 2 mainline and one spinoff, epic mickey 1 and epic mickey 2 and of course power of illusion. like lianna bunny said. and DONT, act like a child and say "lalala im not listening" because how can you listen to a comment? you can read it but you cant hear it! you uncultred excuse for a human being
@Creepx Gaming it basically asks the biggest "What if?" question of Disney: What if there was a world where Mickey was the villain and Oswald was the hero? Instead of the other way around. And I LOVE IT!

My favorite ride at Disneyland is It's A Small World and my favorite boss is The Clock Tower. Also my profile picture is The real Clock Tower from DL that is in Epic Mickey but, it looks like more of Disneyland Paris verison in the Epic Mickey
Me: Mom I don't wanna go on It's a Small World! Mom: Why? Me: Because the clocktower is going to kill me! Mom: Your being ridiculous. You'll be fine, come on. Me: Fine, but if anything happens your paying for my hospital bill. *They were never heard from again.*
