@Wylie Anderson it is really hard to build something and make it so detailed as if you made it in creative, because of the resources are in many different biomes that you have to go trough
That glass layering effect is actually how insects get their metallic look. By layers of different thickness and transparency. Very cool effect in Minecraft looks awesome.
Yes!!! Imagine icicles in snow biome caves, foliage and vines under jungles. Imagine if you could find randomly spawning structures underground, aside from mod spawners. I might be thinking a little too close with Terraria, but the caving was the funnest part of that game. For a game called mine craft, they need to have a cave update. #makeminingfunagain !^
I think telling a story is an important something that many people miss their builds. It adds so much character and uniqueness, and it helps solidify the build as more than just a simple structure. Thanks for including that!! Great video
It really does help to make each build unique. Example, on a server I play on, I made a medieval village. A lot of the houses were similar, but they all had little differences. Like there was one that was more magic- inspired, another that was abandoned with its own little secrets, and one that had a hermit living in it. They all are the same build, but also visibly different. It really is a good tip
@@monotoneyay9108 Conduits make it 300% better, maybe even better than building a base above ground since you won't have to worry about stairs or falling, you get to use all the space on your walls, and build with extreme ease (being able to essentially fly and all). Put in a haste II beacon and speed 2 and you're set for life.
I agree! When watching I was hoping to see a lush cave design base, as I've tried to do before. Of course I don't put in many hours to mc, but it's amazing to see what a supported community can make.
Danilo Hernandez You need to actually reach the end city to get endrods, which means tons of armor, weapons, bridging blocks, and end eyes, all before you can add light to your home.
I enjoy adding water inside my stalactites so they have the dripping water effect. I also love putting in water features, moss, vines, and ore deposits. I agree with Grian your cave build should be clean and uniform. However, I also believe adding a few veins of ore can significantly add to any cave build. I even go as far as to put cracks in the walls and hide gold or emerald ore inside. Whatever you choose to do I find it is easiest to create a theme and play off it. A fiery lava tunnel or an icy ravine, jungle hide away or pirate island treasure skull cave. Then you can fill it with all the plants, follicles, ore deposits, water/lava features, and man-made structures you want.
Grian: but to make it look good, you gotta remove all the *diorite* and granite and this cave is free of it to make it look detailed Iskall: pack my bags, I'm moving
@@nicholasgoff3917 In the Return of the King (the third in the trilogy), we see the Oathbreakers, or the Dead Men of Dunharrow, living in a ghostly green city underneath the Dwimorberg, the Haunted Mountain, so I guess I can see where Grian was coming from. That all makes much more sense now!
Gianni Gutierrez I’m late but I guess you are really bad at this game. Ender chest can be obtained in 15-25 minutes if you find an enderman at the start which is totally doable as endermen are not that rare at all.
The lost river is really cool, and underwater rivers are real in real life! They look very simaler, like mist, but are highly filled with salt, so they hurt you just like subnautica, just slower. Look up “underwater river”
*Mumbo* Builds a walking slime robot that can shoot missles *Iskall* builds an auto, storage system that delivers you everything in a few seconds *Grian* a cave Im kidding I love you grian!
I'll give a good block pallete I've found for building in that style while we wait. Stripped dark oak, jungle trapdoors, nether brick, and of course, gold.
I come to this video in September 2021 and it’s amazing to see how much caves have evolved, they look almost identical to the cave that is in the thumbnail. 1.18 is gonna be good
You need more natural terrain terrain videos using the generated terrain that can be shaped or slightly modified to look beautiful. This was an AWESOME Video and I loved it, hopefully more like this come.
