Epic Minmus Colony - Launching it the proper way - KSP 1.2.2 

With all the assets at hand now, I was wondering how far we can push it. It turned out that this was not the limit. You're great guys!

The giant frieghter seemed light with only one asset attached. You could try making "Atlantis" the flying city? Assemble in kerbin orbit, and the challenge would be if you can land it elsewhere?

1. The music really fits the content. 2. The payload carried behind the craft doesn't make it look aerodynamic.

This is the launch equivalent of "No honey, I can carry it all in one go, I swear!"

I'm no scientist, but I cannot imagine that payload getting to orbit in the manner depicted here. So badass looking though! The camera work has really been amazing too.

This makes my use of K&K base parts and dropping them module by module on Mun look really easy and especially tedious. This is awesome!

Sirrah, I think the every best way to do all of this is to use the GroundConstruction mod. Especially for modules like domes and so on. I.E. Launch all non aerodynamic structures as a DIY kit, plus add the appropriate resources to build if you don't want to mine for them. I'd bet you could make it even MORE epic :-)

Upon seeing you dock with the freighter: Isn't that going to throw your center of mass off from your thrust vector? Upon you firing up the engines and having to constantly correct to point at the maneuver node: Yep, totally unstable. Maybe you could have moved fuel from the tanks close to the base to the tanks on the far side, if it's not completely full. Upon you landing the base: At this point, I would be using KIS and KAS to send an engineer out to remove the engines and tanks and attach them into a big ball of parts and punt into the EPL recycler for rocket parts. Also do wish you used something docking port alignment indicator or one of the aligning docking nodes so that constructions like this were properly aligned rather than "Eh, close enough" aligned.

i hate my KSP Ps4 Version... can't even get in Orbit Becouse of Stupit Controller steering. and no mods to help you! these Cool stuff you guys do, Never gonna be possible on Ps 😭

Its' 1.3 not 1.2. in the update they added the asteroid day pack, now there's the sentinel in science.
