I’ve watched this over and over again, this got me yelling and screaming every time! I am so f-ing hyped by this!! God Bless All! Thank you for sharing!! ❤
Great video, I went tuna fishing out of Venice last Oct. I went on a two-day trip with VooDoo Charters and had a great time fishing the rigs 60 miles out. It was a race to get the fish in before the hammerheads got them.
1. Can I get a post-vid "Boys, tuh-day!"? Please? My OCD needs this in every video. lol 2. Loved the intro with the music. Give your editor a raise 😉 3. I've been watching you for years and only know what you've taught me, but I will never not be impressed watching you pull the fishing line with one hand and reel with the other. Maybe it's something every salty sea dog can do, but it has to be a lot harder than you make it look. Thanks for another great video, Joe! You're the best! P.S. Sord... fellas... can we get our boy Joe one of those WARTHOG V-SHARP A4 knife sharpeners? Come on. 😄
Crazy video Joe, all that Tuna - well done on capturing all that. I like the look of the dish you made, very fresh. Keep it up, am enjoying these videos and nice hair cut buddy 👍
Greetings from Morehead City. That would be a nice Kodak moment with those Tuna. Love your video's. By the way, when the weather won't let you out sometimes you could do a kittycat update video, just say'in....LOL
Impressive 3 fish total combined weight of 570 pounds on poppers. I have 4 fish that are over 200 pounds. I caught them on separate trips the first was May of 2000. The biggest yellowfin was 260 pounds January 2019, and they call them cows on the west coast. I have yet to catch one on a popper let alone catching them on a spinning rod over 200 pounds. I'm going down to Baja to try my hand at catching one and it would be awesome to catch one on a popper. I'll be happy with a 60-80 pounder on a spinning rod and a popper. Fair weather and tight lines.
Congrats. Awesome video. Just thought I'd Comment to help you with the algorithms and let you know that I really enjoy your videos.Your enthusiasm and Passion are contagious.
Nice morning dude. I don't do kayaks cause of a bad back. But if I could definitely would. First time on your channel. Going to check out some more videos. Didn't catch what pier that was you were fishing off? Poke bowls is what I love to make from fresh tuna. Tight lines.......
You lucky boy. Good going. Definition of "luck" - When preparation meets opportunity. Be careful and avoid fisherman error. Should have left a message to your grandchildren in the future about that day. Hahaha. Tight lines
Great day on the water. Not sure who the screamer is but I can promise he’d swim home. There were more “oh my gods” than a high school parking lot after prom. I’m all about being excited, but there is no way I could have stood that all day.
Started watching when you were in San Diego, working some of the same decks I used to. It really felt like you left your heart in SD when you went back to Florida, but this Venice move has been ALL TIME! Sucks there's nothing else to do though!! Good thing fishing never gets boring!
Holy Smokes! Even on pops on top.Jesus,,,have not seen a bite like that since the late 70's and early 80's. But these were mature girly allie's Look at those flags! What do ya figure they were on? I did want to see the guts to see what the "Last Supper" was though. Loved the quick pith! never did it that way and ya can see it worked.
Hey joe my name is Patrick and i work as a deckhand for Osprey charters we are in the same part of the marina as y’all. Feel free to holler sometime when your bored I’m down here about 4/5 days a week as well. Great video 👍👍
Try making some authentic Hawaiian poke… Cube tuna in large dice about 3/4 inch thick, add thin sliced raw white onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, sea salt, limu (ogo) seaweed and crushed candlenut (or crushed macadamia nuts or sesame seeds) and marinate this mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Red chili pepper powder or flakes is optional. Mayo is also optional for a creamy version. The seaweed is optional too. Eat as is or serve over hot white sticky rice (calrose rice would do fine). Raw tuna should always be aged in the refrigerator for 3-5 days so the texture becomes less chewy and the umami flavor develops. Fresh raw tuna will always be more chewy than refrigerator aged and less desirable with less umami. To age tuna, wrap tuna piece tightly in paper towel then in plastic wrap tightly (or vacuum sealed, the idea is no oxygen). Change paper towel and plastic wrap (or vacuum seal bag) everyday and wipe fish dry before rewrapping. Packaging must be changed every day. If aging 5 days, put on ice in refrigerator. If aging 3 days, no need for the ice.
Joe that was some good fishing. Really ashame you do not have your own boat for your shows. Your partner I am not into. I, would bet some one or someone's could sponsor you. You have relaxed more since you started. A lot more fun to watch, especially if you bring out a family. Borrow Gabe's boat and make some videos
Mix all sauce in a blow first then add it to tuna u can Add pepper or any exercises in it if you don't like it so much and use a special get it out into the tuner
