I've said this before about you guys. Matt and Phoebe , what a team bringing us a slice and taste of Rotorua, Taupo and Napier. My wife and I have been following you from the beginning. New Zealand is in our sights. Thank you for what you do.
Thank you so much to you and your wife for watching our videos and supporting us with all the kindness and love in the comments here. It's been a tough few years and having your support means more than we can possibly share :) Phoebe x
I've been to all three places and they're so beautiful. You are such a gorgeous, sweet, kind, genuine, adventurous, fun-loving, calm, warm, optimistic, and big-hearted like an angel 😇😇. Lots of love, hugs, and kisses to you ❤️❤️
I love the fact that you put a lot of energy into it and make the videos fun. You are one of the best vloggers out there, Phoebe. Keep up the good work.
Nice to see a video of my back yard. I live just off the road that leads up to Te Mata Peak. Up there most weekends, it's a pretty awesome spot to watch the sunrise
As an American this video spoke straight to my heart. California Redwoods. Taco Tuesday. Awesome Burgers. I have never heard any of those 3 phrases in a NZ tour video before. I was very happy.
EX-pat Kiwi feeling very homesick right now. Thanks for nothing. Seriously guys you have done an awesome and might I also add a choice job of bringing beautiful Aotearoa to the world and me. Sincerely, thank you from the bottom my heart. Let's face it I'm never going to fly like a bird to get those views. Thank goodness for the drones, eh.
Lots of missing after watching this, been here for marathon 2 years ago, such unique and lovely Hawske Bay Napier. As well as Taupo, many memories. Beautiful. And so Phoebe is pretty... 😊
You went to the places we have been. I love Rotorua and all the springs and mud bath, stinky volcanoes and hangi. What I love most is their skyline buffet, all you can ear, food haven 🤣
Getting prepped to take our ‘only’ to school at AUT and making a month of it due to the distance (and the precious cargo), and I have to say your video series have been AMAZING as an intro to the regions - sites to see , places to eat, Airbnb tips, etc. I just want to say THANK YOU so much for these videos and for following your dream as it’s truly helping others and you’re so talented in what you’re doing because it’s your passion! Please continue following your passion and sharing your finds! Your story is an inspiration as are your travel videos. Fantastic job, well done …. And please continue as I’ve only just found you and I’m about to be an empty nester! 😊
Oh my gosh 🥹♥️ you’ve no idea how much I loved reading your comment. Your words brightened my day so much. Thank you - I’m so happy you found my channel 🙏🏼
I take it for granted being a Kiwi, And haven't seen any of the Country like that due to poor health ! I'll see it thru Matts Lens, Haha ! Shot You Two. Have Liked & Subscibed ❤
Your videos remind me how much I didn't accomplish in NZ 😭 but also give me that determination to come back someday and see more 😁 Totally agree about Burger Fuel, still my fave burger chain in the world 😋🤤 and Lake Taupo absolutely one of the most magnificent places I've ever seen 😍 awesome video 🙂👌
This is amazing. I'm hoping to visit NZ next year. I meant to go for my 50th but Covid. Was born in Hastings my folks came back to UK when I was small. I'm hoping to visit in 2023 in NZ Autumn. I will be travelling with my teen daughter who has profound learning disability so I'm loving the fact you've put in some of the shorter walks. Also planning on car hire, then air BnB and motels/ hotels
Oh wow, that is going to be an incredible trip for you both! Can't think of a better place to have that kind of adventure together :) You're going to LOVE it! Thanks so much for watching. Phoebe x
Lake Taupo is actually a Volcanic Crater when it erupted it was noticed and recorded in ancient China Taupō volcano last erupted over 1,800 years ago and is today filled by New Zealand's largest lake
Great work on this video. I love that you understand how to include music, but soften it when you're speaking. Wish others would get that. Very enjoyable; makes me want to check it out.
haha oh my gosh! Your lovely comment balances out all the comments of people saying our music is way too loud! Thank you so much for sharing - it made my day :) Phoebe x
Matt sources our music from a few subscription based platforms, he doesn't usually list them but if there's one you're really interested in I'm sure he can share the name with you :)
Hey guys really appreciate the videos. I chanced upon your Noosa one as was planning a trip there. Great style mix of walks, food, scenery, adventure not just touristy spots. For eg. I was unsure about Go Rentals as im usually used to the big 4 rentals, but after watching your NZ video, felt assured to go with them. The peppers resort in Noosa was great. You've got yourselves a new subscriber!
Love the Zorb, and the Luge, boring fact here,me and my best mate, were the very first up on the newly opened Gondolas and luge track, rides were $1.50 each,we spent $80 each that day. Grew up in Rotorua, and Auckland.
YT brought me here. Thanks for this. First video I've seen of yours in my parts of the country. From what I've seen so far, You're a great advertisement for all NZ has to offer, Thanks for the excellent narration and impressive photography. You've got a new Sub, and I've certainly a good few more vids to watch yet. For interests sake 🙂 Taupo is actually pronounced "Toe-paw" for the novice. How you pronounced it though is common. How I've explained it is the best way to say it the Maori way and how it should be pronounced if one wants to be politically correct, haha. A pity you didn't stay longer but what you have shared is certainly a great introduction. Cheers from NZ 🇳🇿 M ! edit: w to e.
Thank you SO SO much!! Wow, Tauranga is a beautiful spot to be from :) We had the best time there! Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment. Phoebe x
You look like a blond Alex Morgan at times. Lol One day I would love to travel to New Zealand. Until I can I have to watch hundreds of RU-vid videos of the place
PIES...then Burgers. DAIRIES and BAKERIES for PIES.... FAST FOODS restraunts and TAKEAWAYS for Burgers. For ME classic burger from the WHITE LADY, an Auckland ICON Street Vendor.
What month of the year was this trip? We are trying to decide when to book our travel and what the weather might be like at various times. So, was this trip in June, or July, or ?
summer - officially Dec-Feb, but it runs thru to March even April (autumn) for nice, mild weather. Winter - June, July, Aug. Spring -Sept, Oct & Nov with daylight savings kicking in in Sept (and finishing in April) note: we are an oceanic temperate climate with very changeable weather due to oceanic influence. it can snow in Summer and be cold at any time. we get cyclones usually every year, and we have a lot of rain and wind - with Wellington our capital being the officially windiest city in the world. SI colder in winter than the NI. and warmer sea swimming in the north.
You guys need to stop showing so many of your food meals..I have been following you for a past month and it is really frustrating to see you guys show most of your meals .It is my personal opinion .You guys are lovely on the camera.
