Hey thanks. Sounds like an awesome project. If you need any help, I actually consult and manage these builds for others as well. Here’s some info. www.nineelevensouth.com/curated
You definitely have a great starting point, I opted to keep the stock head unit and just went with Blue Bus to update the blue tooth audio functionality that really modernizes it. There are also some other added features you can do with blue bus. Also, you will not be disappointed with the Autosolutions SSK. It was night and day. No more long sloppy throws when shifting. 20% reduction close to oem shifter height.
Ohhhh hey... I see you got an e46 m3 not too long after we chatted a bit. I feel somehow a bit responsible for this, and fully approve, fellow alpine white e46 m3 friend!

You've got great taste, and you picked up a fantastic example to build off of! Lucky. Just subscribed. By the way, haven't gotten to the later episodes yet, but if you haven't looked into doing a diff rebuild with a 3.9 or 4.1 final drive, I'd highly recommend it. It's the only major mod I've done to my otherwise stock 2004 M3 besides the autosolutions kit, and it majorly transformed the way the car drives. It's got so much punch, lives in the powerband, and provides more opportunities to hit redline on the street. There's a video on RU-vid with Darragh from Everything M3 where he talks about "how it should have come from the factory". I think it would fit perfectly into your build. Edit: here you go, look at 5:20 (or the whole video, it's great) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9NHRr9vDhog.htmlsi=6JbpVzRTsexH9BkJ
@@nineelevensouth under 30k for a car with a ton of very good mods already done while I'm out here looking at 40k/50k for a stock car with 180.000km on it... No words, congrats on your purchase man!
17:30 Isn’t the autosolutions short shifter very loud? Every time the shifter moves into or out of a slot and makes a loud noise. I think that would get exhausting to hear all the time.
You must be thinking of another kind of shifter. I also have the autosolutions kit and it's fantastic, absolutely no noise and smooth mechanical shifts
