Little historicall error in this video: The long barrel 50mm Panzer III, better known as the Panzer III J was introduced in 1941. The newest type in 1939 was the Panzer III E. So technically the Panzer III's in the video shouldn't be there, or should have been Panzer III A - E's. Still a good video.
Also the first day of the invasion Germany hadn't brought in the armor yet and polish cavalry made a mass assault on the German line buying time for the infantry to retreat and regroup.
Niels Gebruers I see those 50mm to I'm guessing the j1 if it is the right one from the files otherwise it's just the J and yes they are 2 different versions with not much of a difference to each other the could of used the 3F
robert musialek Not only did he overdose them, he also used the wrong model. The Pz 3 tanks that participated in the invasion of Poland had short 5cm guns, not long.

Diplex can you do a MOWAS2 video about the Polish-Soviet War of 1920? they used WW1 equipment, but I don't know if there are mods for polish uniforms for 1920, and the Russians don't have uniforms, they look like citizens, except the officers and high rankers of course.
Do a scenario about Operation Unthinkable, Churchill's idea to push the Soviets out of Europe right after the German defeat. It involves the Americans and British along with German infantry (re-armed with their weapons to fight with the western allies) against the Soviets, all with 1945 equipment.
Great battle, I would love to see more early war, blitzkrieg battles. Like the invasion of Belgium or Luxembourg. The Baltic skirmishes would also be great to see, along with some rear action battles when the Germans were retreating from Russia. Love your videos, keep up the great work.
Realism mod huh? Some of you guys have to read about Battle of Wizna '39 when a little bit more than 700 polish soldiers under Cpt. Raginis lead defended Poland for 3 days before 42 000 wehrmacht soliders and 300+ german tanks. THIS is true sacrifice. Poland had (in my opinion) best soldiers since 17th century (On Hussars it started). In Battle of Britain '40 Poland had Division 303 (division or something like that cuz idk how it is in English) and 303 was the best RAF Squadron. Just look at ,,stats" : Battle of Wizna: Polish 700+ vs 42 000+ nazis soldiers 1 polish man killed = 40 nazis killed casualties- Polish soldiers killed- 600-700 , nazis killed- about 30 000 AND during Battle of Britain for 1 Polish Squadrons 303 Plane destroyed , the 303 destroyed 4-5 german planes. Sory for bad english (probably lmao)
Hussars were 1/3 of army and were heavy tanks of their ages,while Pancerni had to do all dirty work for them,they had to spend much effort only to let hussars charge,while hussars are heavy tanks pancerni are motorized recon unit, light and medium tanks

Kinda sad polish don't have national equipment here - in 1939 poles has pretty good... ANTI-TANK SNIPER RIFLES!!! Yeah, you lied down (in other case knockback would send you flying), shot and as shot had 80% to penetrate ANY GERMAN TANK IN 1939 it either immidiately hit the crew or kept ricocheting inside a tank. Imagine being a tank commander, merrily driving forward, thinking you're safe as you can't see any anti-tank guns or enemy tanks... to suddenly feel your tank is stopping and discovering your tank has a small hole in front and your driver's dying... Seriously, if Germany wouldn't have Rommel developing Blitzkrieg Poland would have time to deliver more of that rifles to their unit (they just finished prototype stage in the start of the war) and with their infrantry advantage, nulling German armor advantage with the rifles Germany would do heavy loses with their airplanes, but evengually would be pushed back and highly probably even counterattacked to Germany while Stalin probably wouldn't attack in 1939 seeing as German's can't really make a huge enough dent in Polish defences, waiting for different occasion to attack a few years later...

There are like 50 tutorials on RU-vid and Steam, you just need to look. Diplex has even already done his own video on this, but I recommend 123Stealthbomber.
Here is little known fact. Polish tanks 7TP, were much better than german Panzer III, wich had benn used during the invasion of Poland. In fact, to take down one 7TP nazis needed about 3 Panzers. The point is, that German had a lot more tanks than Poland, so even if Polish were better, they eventually fall outnumbered by Germans. It is the efect of policy of Polish generals, wich (In their stupidity) belived that Tanks are no more than a gadget. They believed that the cavalery is still the future of warfare. September 1939 brutally show us true facts
Filip Frymark, also to add to your point the Germans didn't use tanks to take out tanks instead they used infantry, which fielded anti-tank guns/rifles/grenades, etc. Which means most German tanks bypassed any Polish heavily defended places and tanks. But ofcourse tanks fought each other anyway but it was not their tactical intention.

Yo Diplex, earlier I made a suggestion and I would like to improve on that... Okay, so the story is that the Western allies were the first to attack Berlin in 1945 and captured it, flying the many Western allies' flags above the Reichstag. However Stalin is furious that the Western allies took Berlin. So he starts the third world war right away, his first order is for the nearest Red Army units to Berlin to attack the unprepared Western allies in the German capital.

Zdaje mi się, że wielu zapomina o innych ważnych związkach taktycznych i bitwach jak LOW, KOP, obrona wybrzeża i granic, Wołyńska BK czy 10 BK, 14 pułk ułanów Jazłowieckich, ,,Straszne bliźniaki'' Dzik i Sokół, konwojowanie PQ 16 przez ORP Garland, bitwa ORP ,,Piorun" z Bismarckiem, czy o spadochroniarzach Sosabowskiego. Oczywiści to nie wszyscy. Natomiast ORP ,,Orzeł" jakby nie było ma tylko dwa sukcesy taktyczne i tonie na 8. patrolu. ORP Błyskawica także średnio się zasłużyła, kilka innych niszczycieli włożyło lepszy wkład w wojnie.
I love your vids. You are great RU-vidr. Making that many Polish defense (I am from Poland) is what I like. Not many men of war-ers do vids like this. Two more things: -You didn't include factions for RobZ in your title -(this will help you) you don't have to say doubleyou z on the polish rifles, machine guns, and tanks and cannons etc. but you can just say model Or if you like it harder you can read it wzór. Because it's what it exactly means. English and Americans should read it vzoor

Would You try next time a Polish counterstrike on german ,echanized forces? there where some battlest with polish bikes, infantry, tanks and tanketees against german forces. and some of them with suport from polish armored trains! btw, 7TP was one of world best medium tanks in mid1939. too bad plans for 12TP never came to live. Very good video just I'm not sure the panzer 3 wasn't around when the invasion of Poland kicked off especially not a long barrelled 50 or 75. But still I enjoy all your content, this video included, keep up the good work
Please make a video about the Battle of Monte Cassino. Over 100.000 Polish, US and Commonwealth forces vs. 80.000 Germans and Italians defending a castle. And of course, lots of artillery, just as we all like :) This couldn't be a bad video!

I control a tank and decided to shoot through a pile of tanks but the shot was bounced 20 times inside those pile of tanks and killed the tank that I targeted.. What an unforgettable lucky shot
lol panzer 3J with high velocity 50mm which if i'm correct (which I may not be) was not present during the invasion of poland. It could be a different variant but Im pretty sure high velocity 50mm were not around.
hey, A battle that i never saw anyone doing, is the mount castello battle, with brazilian trops of the 5th army of the US, it would be pretty cool if you do it :D
This is probably how the Blitzkrieg would have ended up if the Poles had managed to get any fighters airborne to counter the Stuka CAS because the problem obviously wasn't cavalry vs. tanks :p Speaking of which there probably should have been more Pz.II's because they made up the bulk of the tank forces in '39. Also, the 'tractor' tanks look like Swedish tanks because both tanks are based on a German design sneakily traded after WWI.
Make a battle based on the alternate history in Attentatet vid Pålsjö Skog (sv.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attentatet_i_Pålsjö_skog) by Hasse Alfredsson. Use polish troops and partisans for the Swedish ambushers and a regular train filled with German infantry for the Tysktåg. Please please please!
This was one of your better videos, except the Poles in this seemed to have far more firepower than was historically close, while the Germans had far less air support.

Speaking of Polish assaults. How about the 1956 Polish October? Basically cooler heads prevailed and the soviets caved to many of the Polish demands. But, lets say that didn't happen, and the Polish army sides with their government, and the Soviet union had to invade.
BTW: I'm not a tankman (or even military, just a nornal civvie) but I've been riding in one once... Let's just say it was so loud there's no point of having a stereo there...
