I own a Busa now, I’ve been riding all my life, I’ve never had the confidence that I do now. I don’t get stupid but I also don’t go looking for trouble. When it finds me I just kind of tuck it back into bed. Only the big boys get to play, All others get ignored.
@@connorboring1888 wheels the up loader of the video said that demon can do 9.2 on a warm day with good traction (stock demons claim 9.6), in the video the bike ran a 8.8 sorry but power to weight ratio
The Busa has been king since 1999....There have been a few bikes that may or may not be right with it at the strip, but nothing has dethroned the mighty Busa. Throw in the vast vast aftermarket for the Busa and you can build something that cannot be beaten on the street. As far as cars.....The Demon is pretty cool and there ain't no shame with a 9 second car. I have seen street legal Busa turbo's pulling 800 hp on the dyno though... For the last 20 years, everyone has gotten to know what the taillight of a Busa looks like.. God bless you Suzuki for making a LEGEND.
@@johnjones5977 well i don't know his exact reaction time but if you look at the tree, you can see that he takes off before the light goes green and he doesn't foul. That's what you want. If he left any sooner he might red light
I like both Demon and Hayabusa. Demon is a really powerful and heavy machine to control with lots of modification. Still respect for both the driver and the rider. I have driven and ridden both. I can totally relate Cheer up Guys !!!!!
@@jamildover6539 short and simple... a Demon will never catch a turbod Hayabusa 1/4 to top speed. The further the distance.. the bigger the gap the Busa will put behind the Demon.
Demon can go 200 mph, can go in the 9’s, has 840. horsepower, and is the drag king. However, Sometimes it can’t put all that power down so it will just keep spinning its tires all day
Not to mention the ass kicking,the busa in this vid is a old 1st gen budget build .Had the over priced Demon raced a 2nd gen turbo busa with a better budget it would be no race at all. Most turbo busa are in the 7's and 6's in 1/4 mile .2nd gen stock OEM motor without nitrous or turbo are running mid 8's and low 9's (my 2nd gen street bike has been the best at 9.04 @ 148 mph in street trim (loosely street trim but the motor is ALL stock).
“Overpriced” it’s a 9 second car out the box under 100k fast bikes are not that impressive they weigh like 1/8 the weight of car so it’s expected to be fast
@@The3751FAN I've been involved in racing for over 35 years, expensive slow OEM factory offerings never impressed me.I ran in the 1990's a NA 13b bridge ported rotary engine in a Toyota as a dd and ran 10.67@ 134 mph , less than 12 grand in the build with me doing all the work .Nuff said.The cost to performance of my build is more appealing than a over price Demon. Mine never broke either like these Demons.
Desmond Johnson well that’s your opinion , I thinks it’s great and with minor bolts ons there running 9.2 on has ran 8s with a 75 shot and pullies , I appreciate budget builds as much as the next time but you got to appreciate a company releasing a factory 9 second car for under 100k
Dino Maxi lmao budget build? You know this bike because I do and it’s my buddies. Budget 😄🙄 gen 2 or 1 has zero to do with it. As far as 7’s? This bike makes 282 whp, 60’s 1.5 and traps 165. It’s only stretched 6”. It’s a full street bike. I love how all the key board warriors are out in full force. 😄
Shivam Mehra I like the demon better its the fastest V8 Production car and can do a 9 second quarter mile STOCK (With demon crate, comes with demon if you want to pay 1 dollar)
I used to ride a Hayabusa and I know personally that it can't be touched. I went from 0 to 90 in a few seconds and held my head above the visor for one second. My mouth flew open and I got pushed back on the bike. I got tingles through my whole body and thought I was going to die. lol I downshifted and sold that bike a few weeks later. I just had a son and couldn't risk it. lol
Well, I can't say I'm shocked about the result. However, bikes aren't always faster. Cars have four flat points of contact vs two for the bike, that can make a huge difference.
Guys on built gsxr 1000 drag bikes are pulling 6's. Plenty of off the shelf super bikes will do 8s with a good rider. Hell, Jay Gleason did a 10.33 on a stock 1985 vmax which at the time set a record of the fastest run on a production motorcycle ever. Now you have superbikes that make way more power and have far less weight.
Christian Thomas lol ummm no Demon best is 9.3. Best for bike is 8.5 which is huge. I know both as are local to me. Both were at the track tonight too.
The fact that it was even a race that the Hayabusa totally modified running an 8 second quarter mile versus a factory stock demon that says it all right there hats off to that demon though for running the nine second quarter mile even with bad traction that's damn good
Old school "GHETTO turbo kit 1st gen Busa on a budget build " beat the hell out a car tha should have no excuse for traction.The busa put all it's power down on DOT tire with a contact of 3''x 2'' of rubber .
As expected Money doesn’t buy skill, Mopar owners can’t drive, I own a 450 whp a4. The car is fast but not crazy. It make hellcat owners get cocky, and spin for 1/3 if the track. Spinning ain’t winning
I'm sorry but you cannot by any means call this EPIC. It sucked. And evertime I'm out on my bike I always wonder why jackasses in demons think they could ever, ever, hang with a motorcycle. STOP DRAG RACING CARS AGAINST MOTORCYCLES. They always lose.
