The only true suspect we have now as far as WHO jack really was is possible America's first known Serial killer H.H Holmes. After ripper terrorized England, hh Holmes began his killing spree with his hotel of horror & the timing between both killing sprees is basically back to back.

They missed most of the entire thing to be honest. Very few people have much understanding of Jack the ripper outside of "he killed prostitutes".

lecter isn't "real" per se .he's based off of multiple real life serial killers. I.E. Jeffrey Dahmer .

Fun fact Jack the Ripper came up with his own name. It was when he was teasing the cops he was telling them in brutal detail on a kill and at the end he said 'Yours truly. Jack the ripper'

The Ray Liotta line is brilliant. In the sequel to Silence of the lambs, Hannibal, Dr. Lecter cuts open Liotta's characters head and picks pieces of his brain and cooks and eats them in a kitchen while the character is still alive.

Doing a project about Jack the Ripper, yet one of the issues teacher/students brought up, was the concern that no one knows who he is. 2/10 people knew him in the room. Name wise. I'm sitting there though like, how have you never once heard of the Jack the Ripper?! They started naming off less know modern day killers randomly, yet not one of the most notorious names associated with the term serial killer..

Ok yeah your just empty headed: Jack failed to mention Lecter in his first verse, Jack also failed to make up for his lack of mentioning Lecter in his 1st verse and guess who pointed out that jack didn’t mention Lecter? Hannibal Lecter is based on a little-known Mexican murderer Thomas Harris dubbed “Dr. Salazar.” Whose real name was Alfredo Balli Trevino. Thomas Harris revealed this in 2013 when the 25th anniversary edition of The Silence of the Lambs novel was released. Prior to that Thomas Harris kept this to himself leaving fans of the book and movie series to argue and speculate that Hannibal Lecter had been based on many different serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Albert Fish.

They did Ripper dirty by giving him a brag verse to kick things off. It was a great standalone verse, but not a battle rap. Basically it set him up for failure since Lecter was throwing barbs from line 1.
