Whats funnier is that i´m pretty sure this rap battle first came out around the time when Greece´s economy really toke a nose dive and money was pumped into the country to not totally collapse and there was alot of media talk at the time as a result. At the time there was talks about them nearly having to sell off islands to other countrys.

Zeus started strong, but ran out of steam quickly, Thor started strong, and then just never stopped getting better. Thor won, no question

Yeah. This was a clear Thor win. Zeus talks about Greece being the birthplace of democracy, and yet he's the king of the gods. A monarch. Kinda hypocritical of him, wouldn't you say?

Just in case someone doesn't know. Zeus's "cross-dressing" line was referencing a story where a giant stole Mjolnir and demanded Freya's hand in marriage as ransom. So Loki came up with a plan to have Thor dress like Freya and steal it back.

Just a fun fact that "Flyting" as Thor mentioned is from Norse Mythology/Nordic region, and it's considered the official origin of Battle Rap. Loki was also known as the best at Flyting in Norse mythology. So Zeus saying that Loki wrote Thor's lines would actually be a good thing for Thor.

I've seen this point going around a lot and it's the kind of point you make when you miss the forest for the trees. Loki is the best at flyting, the one with the sharpest tongue, yes. But he's also an absolute menace to the aesir who sabotages them all the goddamn time. The line isn't saying "actually, Loki must have tried his hardest to make such good lines for them and they're still bad". It's saying "Wow, Loki must have intentionally sabotaged you to make such dogshit lines."

I can only assume it's because you have some need to be right about something, to the point of stating that i'm thinking something that i'm not. Zeus' implication of Loki sabotaging should be obvious. I just pointed out the reality that lines made by Loki is not necessarily a negative.

I reed about that the other day Zeus’s dad ate his kids bc it was prophesied that one of his kids will kill him and take his throne so as a result he ate all his sons and all who was born but Zeus was hidden .. in the Greek theology stuff 😊

I will say that Zeus claim 'Only a mindless fool would knock the fathers of philosophy' is a bit of a selfburn... Cause Zeus can't really take credit for that as most of the great greek philosophers spoke AGAINST the greek pantheon and the greek mythology as a whole. Great Reaction. There is this Spongebob Rapper on RU-vid that has really good bars from the youtuber, "Yaboysponge" some of the best rapping on youtube period. He even had Patrick kill it in raps. Here is two videos for example "GO SPONGEBOB! [Crazy Driving Skills] (Rap) Prod. Patrick" and Patrick's rap called "GTA in REAL Life".
