I agree that I wasn't a reader when I was a kid. (I'm almost a teenager, only 19 more days) Like I read but I hate to read. It wasn't until the end of fifth grade that I started to read. I had to choose a book with Mythology and I chose The Lightning Thief. My life hasn't been the same ever since.
on Christmas morning of 2007, mom got me Twilight bc I've been wanting it for about a year. I read the first 3 books in 8th grade, & that series really got me into reading. now I'm 21 years old, & still love it to this day :)
I just watched Aubry's book tag and loved the idea of a prequel about Caleb from Divergent, and now that you suggested a prequel from the mom's point of view, I NEED BOTH THESE THINGS IN MY LIFE! Come on Epic Reads Team, make it happen!
Lov this tag :) The hunger games was the book that made me a reader too! :) In 2011, I was 16 and that's when I started reading a lot. That book shimmy!! LOL
I'm the same with not reading when I was growing up! When I was 16 me and a friend were going on holiday together and she recommended reading a book at the airport so I borrowed The Hunger Games from her and bam, I've been struck by all the fangirl emotions ever since.
I didn't even read it the first time. But the second time I picked it up, I ended up reading the trilogy 7 times!! Then just like that *clicks* I had no life outside books!!
Love this tag! I was a bit of a reader as a kid, not hardcore like I am now haha, but I didn't mind reading. I was 11 years old and I had a sleepover at my house with my friends. One of them brought the fourth Harry Potter book and I grabbed it while they were doing something. I read the first page, which begins with Voldemort, and had no idea what was going on so I ask, "wait isn't this about Harry? Who's this guy?" My friend laughs at me and says, "you need to read them to find out." Naturally my 11 year old self took this as a challenge so I checked out the first one from my school's library. Haven't been the same since and I'm 21 now. I will always credit my friend and Harry Potter for my deep love of reading :-D
Amazing tag! It has one of the best questions I've heared and makes you think hard before answering. I'm definitely going to do it. Keep making epic videos!
I think the book that made me read as a kid was Heidi. I liked Nancy Drew books also. As soon as you asked about dystopian world I thought of The 5th Wave.
I was never a reader until this summer because the was a girl I went on a trip with and she LOVED divergent and so when I got home I started reading the series and I realized I LOVE it and finished it in 3 weeks so since then I read the hunger games, the John Green books ( I know it's cliché)and I'm reading twilight plus I found a kid in my class who also loves divergent
i strted rly reading books in 5th gr. i read the warrior series and i just found books after books after books that intrigued me (ooo fancy word GO ME) and I just read non stop
Hmmm....just getting my feet wet, back into the youtube vlogging venture... I may or may not film this tomorrow ;) I like these. Y'all should do more. Make Aubry do it! lol
Did you invent that tag? Because I've been on youtube for a LONG time now and I've never found a tag with such wonderful, insightful questions, that really make you think about your reading life. LOVE it. You guys are so great! Am enjoying your videos a lot, thanks for everything you're doing! ♥ Greetings from Germany! =)
the books that made me a reader were game of thrones, i read every once ins a while but GRRM then came in and slaped me in the face with his awesomeness.
Love ur videos!!!!!! 😘😻Until this video, I haven't known ur name ...LOL 😁 I showed ur videos to my friend and she's totally loved it. I'm really sorry if this was badly typed. I'm from Mongolia but I live in Czech Republic. Love u so much 😊😊 lots of hugs from czech republic 😉😜🐧🐘🐼
I really love you guys, but I'm sad to say that I've seen almost all of these questions in dozens other book tags. That's why I almost never watch tags anymore, because they are just so repetitive.
