This summer has to be the WORST I can remember up here in the North Island of New Zealand! Constant rain and weather events has meant that most rivers within a couple of hours of me have remained un fishable, even now!
I took advantage of a rare window in the rain, found some fishable water and pushed up into a section I haven't been into before to see what I could find.
Amazing pools, runs and riffles and some big rainbow trout made the effort worth while! A longe than usual episode this week so make sure you watch this on the big screen in 4K to get the best out of it!
