Hi Guys, Here is another EPIC FINAL IND VS PAK 1998 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vqMQ3S8syK0.html Hope you like this one too. Regards, CricketCloud
This is the match when watching cricket was like a festival at home.Close encounters, struggle for every single run and wicket.Quality bowling attack and Sachin is on fire.Where those days have gone.still those memories are fresh in mind. My love for all the people who are the witnessed of this golden era of cricket.
You are right .T20 and IPL have ruined cricket. None of us just dont feel the joy anymore . Remember how awesome the atmosphere was when we won the HERO CUP. Golden days of cricket !
Even maximum matches seem to be fixed. This game is designed only for batsmans,as u said there is no scope for bowlers. In my opinion cricket is no longer worth watching and I stopped watching it after 2005.
Anil Kumble did miracle with the ball again here. Sachin set up a perfect example of captaincy by leading from front whether this is with bat or taking the responsibility of final over bowling. Azhar and Dravid did excellent job with bat! Robin Singh's initial break through and highest quality of fielding deserves a special mention!
I was nine back then the moment Tendulkar got out electricity of our area failed i took 5 rupees from my mother for fare and went to my maternal home which was 4 miles away and watched the rest of the game Golden memories Life hasn't been the same so is cricket miss that golden era of cricket
same thing happened with me in Jabalpur, my father and I went to someone's house a few kms from my place to watch the rest of the game... cricket was everything back then
Multiple times I come back to watch such old-gold matches as if I haven’t seen it before 😍 no such emotions in recent cricket, no such thrill even when match is going on live. Such old videos still gets me on the edge 😌 T20 is just a business of cricket which is sucking out emotion from cricket. #BanT20
I remembered this match. I watched entire indian inning & after that Aussie batting till 45 over at my home after that I was at station because I have to catch the train for my native place. That time mobile was not available so all people who want updates about match they were finding person who have the radio & suddenly one person who have radio shouted "We won the match". People who were on platform as well as inside the train all are celebrating indian victory. Jai hind !!!
One of my favourite match in my childhood memory. I still remember we all family members just watched the last over when Sachin came to bowl. And every one clapped their hands with joy when India won the match.. Missing those moments
Complete one man army! Demolished the arrogant Australians single handedly! Batting, fielding, captaining, bowling the death over against such a tough team! Unbelievable 90's! Today's generation would never feel this. Ever again. #God #Bharatratna
During that time, Indian team were more confident of beating Aussies rather than Pakistan or South Africa. Australia was India's easy target during that time.
@@SiddharthVaz That's the comment of a person who's either a hater or who doesn't understands cricket. Are you seriously comparing an all round performance of a solo player to a couple of good knocks? How ridiculous. You obviously have no idea of Indian cricket in the 90's and how one man was the differentiating factor between a win or loss. Peace!
@@srvdkiller by ending a discussion with peace, you tend to imply that you are ending the discussion amicably. But the gibberish that you wrote doesn't permit an amicable discussion because it assumes a butt load of crap derived from a single sentence.
@@SiddharthVaz Lol. Don't copy paste sentences from internet which doesn't suits a particular debate. If you find my above narrative gibberish you only have your relatively tiny ass grey matter to blame for not being able to comprehend basic arguments. You are a joke in yourself, don't make a mockery by typing trash here. Go on and shit elsewhere.
Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Ajit Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Javagal Srinath, Ashish Nehra These are not just names.... They are the emotions of every early 90's born kids........ They are always special to us No matter how many premier leagues are introduced, no matter how many records are recreated, no matter how many new rules are created in cricket, these names always remains very special for us
It's a must win game..ind won a thriller.. Then in final too..Ind won against mighty sa who won all the league matches .. Titan cup champions #india . Need these kind of triseries now
After 22 years still it looks like fresh, I watched this match live when I am just 13 years old. Azaruddin and Jadeja smashed the aussie bowlers every corner of the ground after initial firecrackers from Sachin.
Robin Singh came to limelight from Series. He proved his bowling ability which was handy in middle overs. In next match, he proved his fielding by taking extra order catch of Pat Symcox. He proved his hard hitting finish skill against Zimbabwe in hi next series. He was complete complete package. Since our opponent teams like SL, Pak, SA, Aus were much stronger and had greatest bowlers, we couldn't win many win.
The only batsman in the history of cricket who would get out at a score of 94. He never played for himself. He always played for the country. He is none other than our hero Azharuddin. Azhar is the most selfless cricketer ever
Azhar and Dravid strengthened the score in the middle overs... Azhar's knock was super crucial!!! Sachin proved himself to be one of the best utility players in the 90s, not just with the bat... But he was Azhar's trump card in the death overs...
The reaction of mcgrath does not show involvement and dedication, it shows disappointment, regret and shame, for having thrown the game away by forcing a non existent run. sure, mcgrath has great dedication towards the game, but the moment you are pointing to isnt reflecting that.
Highlights : Off macgrath 14 run of the last over. Brave decisions (Sachin last over) Excellent keeping. Extraordinary fielding. Result : India 🇮🇳 won billions of hearts !!!
VANDANA BAIRWA .. He was a class player . His white helmet , Open collar, Crooked walk .. Childhood memories .... in my school days , we tried to imitate like him... walk like him with open collar .. that’s the impact he gave for 80s kids ...
One of the very few matches of the 1990's when Indian Cricket Team played as a team with almost every single player contributing with batting, bowling or fielding
There is a speciality in the Indian total in this match...i heared commentator saying India registered their highest ever total against Aus..but that is not correct..India had registered absolutely the same total against Aus in the 1987 Reliance world cup, in their second group match...289/6...even the wickets were also same
Because in 90's pitches were made for both Batsman and Bowlers but now it's just for batsman. Weight of the ball has been reduced and bats have become thicker from the middle but lighter.
Tendulkar took so much responsibility for such a long time, final overs, opening batting. Dravid doing anything possible for the team. Kumble the biggest match winner with the bowl and Srinath or very own Mysore express.
One of my favorite matches.. I still remember hearing to radio as the power was off after 7 PM that day due to cyclone in A.P. If am not wrong, it is the same day 23 years ago..Classy innings from Azhar Bhai after he was dropped earlier due to his poor batting against West Indies the same year..
In this match Sachin and Robin Singh threw their wicket with very easy catches. Were they fixed the match? in the previous match against Australia in same series Azhar got out LBW on a very good ball then he was called fixer. Nobody fixed matches. Nitish Rajput did that only for popularity and views.
Sachin innings of 61 (62) great. He was able to win with this team against australia shows his captaincy. Unfortunate that during his period we did not have good fast bowlers. Otherwise things would be different
India never had good fast bowlers ... Only today's time is there that india's fast bowling is good ... That's only because oppositions has not good batsmen in there team
I watched this match, it was on Dusherra. I still remember how Sidhu got run out. It is fresh in my memory. The final too I remember. I was just 9 years then. Good olden days
We never give azahar credit never disscuss about them who gave such phenomenal job to our indian cricket as player or captain what a player and ininig he play in this every player play there handsomely..epic on a hipe..in this match..i love all player before 2005 era...big thanks to all indian players who play for india..always in my heart..
Because , you all are vegeterian then & also, you didn't eat cow ! Now, you are not vegeterian & eating a lot of cow meat! That's why you are having some good pace bowlers!
This was the time when i had developed a lot of interest for cricket. I had a lot of passion for this sport. I clearly remember that it was my upper primary school days, I was completely addicted to the game as young boy. I really enjoyed playing cricket on the streets and never imagined missing even a single moment of each and every cricket match which was on. I remember that it was the semi's of the Titan Cup played between India and Australia during 1996. Even though the team India managed to pull off a Marginal victory and the Australians were knocked out of the tournament with no wins. It was a close finish, the winning team had to play the formidable South Africans in the final, and i also remember crying myself for the Indian teams victory. I feel really nostalgic when i recall those golden days.
I remember this match, I was in class 12th , this match was a do or die match for both India & Australia, 5 days after this match, there was Diwali in India !
ha Vipul bhai, big fun k cricket cards to peak nostalgia hai mera. Still remember Sachin scored 7801 runs in 211 matches with the highest of 143. Lara averaged 45.03. Ambrose and Srinath both had 212 wickets. Yousuf Youhana averaged 53.22 Ganguly averaged 40.80. Dravid was classified as Silver.
when i saw 90s match sachin and azhar always scored. about sachin i saw mah ealier to sachins retirement that sachin scored so much centuries but about azhar his wrist is so awesome he was a genius in 90s for india and fielding is also outstanding by azhar.. and using sachin and kumble well in his captaincy. and sachin is legend
Not just him but most of the Captains used to fix in 90s because of death threats and 💰 be it Azhar,Hansie,Wasim or anyone. It's just few of them got caught.
No matter who says what - Azzu bhai was classy and yet brutal batsman. Perhaps one of India's most classiest. We have forgotten his batting grace due to all those controversies! He would have been a hit in IPL era. Have not we all tried those wristy flicks and failed in early days?
Watching it in 2020, I remember we were loosing to South Africa throughout the series but winning against the Aussies. Final over when Sachin was bowling we were like man, we've lost the match now and suddenly the run out🥰😍
Australia lost the match when Mark Taylor refused to walk when he was caught in kumble’s over by mongia... my father told this when we were watching this match live...
And India wins hero cup💪
Thank you for uploading this..brings back so many memories..I was 11 years old and literally jumping with joy when slater got out lbw..and lol at the final wicket..gotto feel for McGrath there
