Epic Seven - Abyss Challenge Mode - Floor 12: Sven - Tips, Tricks, & Strategies

Gimmicks:
As with all challenge floors you may use no more than 1 of each class type. ie: no double soul weavers.
Three of your 4 units must be 3* Base units.
You must not receive more than 6 critical hits in the entire fight so pack anticrit units/skills
The enemy crit chance increases the longer the fight goes on so you must kill pretty fast
Dual attacking is not an option as it triggers skill null and has its damage reduced by 90%
Sven goes immortal at 1 HP so you need a full dispel or buff blocks to strip/prevent that as it will drag the fight on more rounds risking crits for a fail.
Needed units:
Diene, choux, or Mort should be your non-5* unit as they both give anti-crit.
If you don't have any of them then i recommend bursting sven down as fast as possible with very high damage units as you will really be in the clock for killing before taking 7 crits.
Arowell: Barriers are nice and S3 is a full cleanse + s1 strip
Carminerose: S3 is a strip and has buff block and does great damage
Fluri: S3 is a full strip and has passive healing
Adin: Light version sas buff block on her S1 and does great damage, others have defense breaks.
Gunther: has built in anti-crit and can stun (if they are stunned they cant crit you)
Mirsa: has damage, buit in evasion, and can wear evasion art
Angelic Montmorancy: Can sleep on her S1 (if they are asleep they cant crit you)
Thats just what jumps to mind. Im sure there are several options. Find the ones that work best for you.

New Adin is really good here as well. High damage, high evasion, buff block on S1 and it's 10 souls for a 100% chance and 2 turn version. Dizzy is another really solid unit here, decrease hit chance, speed down, attack down, and big push back makes things a lot safer. Also having decreased hit chance is effectively the same as crit res buff, but better since it's on the enemy and you don't have to worry about your teams speed. I did it with only getting crit 3 times. The team I went with and did it very safely was this: Savior Adin: 218 speed, 3648 attack, and 271 C dam (Double-edged crescent +15) SC Helga: 179 speed, 3352 attack, and 344% C dam (Border coin +15). A Momo: 212 speed, 1.7k def, 18k hp, and 190% eff res (Magaraha's Tome +21) Dizzy: 226 speed, 1.6k def, 13k hp, and 85% eff (Iela Violin +30)

A tip for people who's struggling, you can clear with a bunch of anti-crit 5 star heroes like senya/diene/choux etc and then use a bunch of 3 star hero to clear and ignore the outrage effect.

Thanks for the guide! I used choux with candle stick And also swapped carminerose for saviour adin. Worked out well and cleared on 1st try. Having choux as damage dealer helps a lot.

Dizzy with abyssal crown is the way, just put her on high speed and all the ads will be constantly stun, and sven will get the decresed hit chance and decresed speed, so less turns for him. For the rest i got, clorina for dps, amomo though since the ads were always stunned i guess you can take another dps in her place, and arowell but i guess kluri can do the job better with her def break

Nice scenic route. I had more luck with bursting Sven down here.. using spirits breath auxlots, rage clorina, ms.confille wanda, and fluri.

RNG screwed me big time on this fight... Took me 1-2 hours to do this as enemies kept critting through anti-crit buff or i got 15% resists with Carmenrose. VERY annoying floor. Also one time Carminrose attacked with s3 like in the video but the boss still got his buffs AND unbuffable debuff. So what i did was: try to get the boss to 0% in a way that when he gets his buffs Carmenrose would attack before the boss takes a turn. Took awhile but i did it finally.

Tried Mascot hazel instead of momo, almost did it twice. Switched her to Savior Adin, it worked waaaaay smoother cuz Adin evasion + the anti-crit works super well. Full team: Savior Adin, Choux, Arowell and Zealot Carmainerose

Lorina (jacko +15), Carmainerose (Kal,dra) , Glen (Sword of Judgment +15) and Diene (Unfading Memories) worked for me c: My Glen lv 50 manages to do +60k atk with soul burn, more if u land def break before.

I replaced Mont with Adin and Choux with Diene on idols cheer. Beat this within 4mins b/c I dps him down b4 he could even use his ultimate let alone land any crits. My Carmainerose had +30 dragon knuckles which is perfect for this anti crit comp for 30% counters. Abit whaleish but it worked flawlessly.

I wanted to get 3 stars at once so after some tries I did it with Diene, Light Adin (front row) UK Arowell and Vigilante Glenn for big damage. Swapped her ring for main eff% to land the debuff but Sven still was proc'ing his buffs so I saved Arowell s3 and finish him of.

"Allies" versus "Allies except for the caster," as yes, in E7 "allies" includes the caster itself. I think if you don't have an anti-crit buff giver, your best bet is to use something like Mirsa, Light Adin, Gunther, and Assassin Cartuja, as evasion also works - if they miss you, they can't crit you. Gunther with Snow Crystal is 90% crit resistance, while with fat-cat and an evasion artifact, Mirsa and Savior Adin have 95% evasion. Just hope they don't go on fat-cat, and uh, put them on LS I guess?

Thanks, managed to clear it with: SC Wanda (lvl 50), SC Arowell, Light Adin and Choux ^^ Wanda is good for speed down on Sven, occasional target and CR pushback Idk why he buffed himself with the final blow being soulburned Adin S1 but luckily I had Arowell S3 right after :)

Thanks for the vid. I think Senya is BIS for the non-3 star - she can perma lock down the adds in a provoke / miss chance combo and with her inbuilt 50% crit resistance, I never saw a crit on her. The rest of the team was Adin / Helga / Carmainerose. C Rose strips the buffs when he hits 0, otherwise does decent damage. Helga for def break and damage as well (pushes back sven a bit). Adin because she's damn strong, and her evasion means she works really well in the front to tank sven. This team was a one-shot, low risk. I had Crose on bloody rose, but book would have been better to burn Senya's s3 to maximise counter buff uptime - Sven's dispel was quite annoying as it did remove it once. Helga helps as she puts a lot of buffs up, so sometimes it's protected.

Oh, i'm surprise that i used the same team as you, only zealot carmainerose, that i used perlhorizon, to sleep the adds , to keep me even more safe from the crits
