All i've learned from my experience is that you need to suprise enemy with some crazy shi* that the attacker wouldn't think about. Also RNG plays a good role in it too

I’ve been trying to improve my guild war a lot lately and I’ve made some useful units and improved my team building thanks to your videos. It’d be nice to have a tier list style video for both offense and defense, doesn’t have to be a traditional one. Maybe a general list with a few build recommendations and stats provided. Tier lists usually do well in the algorithm so it might be a decent idea. Anyway, thanks for a great guild war content. Keep it up :^)

Talentless has done a offense tier list before on streams and they're super informative. I wouldn't want to take ownership/recognition for their work since they are the ones behind the scene really helping me improve as a player. I appreciate the idea! But I'll probably leave anything tier list related to my peers because they are far better than me in GW.

nice video ! I just wanted to add that if you have a lot of characters to choose, its better to think your gw def as a complete mechanism instead of two separate teams. In a game that has a lot of niche characters or characters that counters specific mechanics, having two teams that ask for LHC/Aria for example, helps you a lot to improve your def WR%. Now instead of just gear gappin, you can gap the enemy hero roster or their ability to bring comps that work without easy niche heroes.

100% agree. I mentioned this a bit about "forcing Roana or forcing pyllis" in both rounds to stretch the attacker thin due to unit pool or gear quality issue. Appreciate your support! Thanks Knox!

Prof.Vic 10/10 for the thumbnail! Thanks for the insight my man! The lilias senya ran comp is pretty strong ngl. My guild was fighting in top 100 on asia server. Been spamming Destina, Beni, Edward comp. All on thicc build. just need to pop lilias with beni, if she survives ed can follow up. The build for anyone interested: Destina: 1.9k def | 28k hp | crystal arti Beni: 1.3k def | 16k hp | pov | Beni can still hit hard even if atk was below 3k. Edward: 1.4k def | 24k hp | sigurd Kill priority: Lilias > Ran > Senya

LOL Riku thanks man, I wanted to try a troll ass thumbnail so I'm glad it's well received. That team makes sense to me. Definitely need specific gear requirements and could it potentially lose to Senya > Lilias > Full dmg Ran on Symbol? Just food for thought - dunno if you have seen that yet

Wonderful thanks! I have a question please. If Rimuru has Benimaru's Tachi for the atk buff, what heroes could replace Mercedes? Or is it better to have Mercedes there. I've seen lots of Mercedes in GW defense. Thx!

Thanks for the video! Will your scout video have calculations? I want to know if I go second and let's say that I'm at 280 spd, and the enemy unit that went first is at 12% cr (after his turn), what's the formula? I'm bad at math lol

Don't think scout video would include calculations since I'm going in blind - I wouldn't be able to calculate anything. I'd only be relaying information over to my guild so they know what speeds are deemed "safe" or can use to follow up.

Well, the enemy unit gained 112% of the CR yours did. If they had no CR increase effects, that means they had approximately 112% of the Speed. That’s the basic calculation.

I built krau with life steal and high bulk and the ee that lowers cd of s3 when he gets a kill. isn't that considered a trap unit?

Usually deal with 4:25 team with counter kayron 3.5k atk, 150 res, 300 critd). Fast Ss achates (+ml armin just because) for first fight i meet them, abigail for second one. Ive met only ~ 5 or 10 such defences, but never lost by now with such comp.

As a newer player, I have a question. If I placed my GW defense characters before the GW starts and I re-gear them during the GW battle for attacking , will it affect my defense?

No it will not. There is an update button on the bottom left where if you click this - it'll save whatever build you have in that tower. The only way it can change before the war starts is if you hit the update button again by mistake.

You can't. Celine always moves before politis but you're not requiring Celine S2 for kill potential - it's only to push far enough ahead (with secret Art storm sword) to one shot the kise then LCB can finish off Senya easily.

how do havoc points work exactly, been playing this game for 2 years now and still dont know how it works. For 2 wins you get 120, for a draw you get 60, and for destroyed fort you get 500 extra right? And for destroyed small tower you get 100 havoc? So like if 2 ppl attack the small tower and kill it, that's 120 + 120 + 100?

IIRC: - each token can get you 120 havoc - killing a tower gives 100 - killing forts give 500 - killing stronghold gives 1000 Someone please fact check me on that lol

@@vikchun yeah that's what I was thinking too, but I saw a video where they needed 3 ppl to kill the small tower, and the guy said "even if you draw I still get max havoc" so I wasn't sure.

Does Guild Wars Defense screen shot your items? Lets say I put my best gear I currently have? (Still working on my account/Somewhat early mid game I would say) So I take my most cracked gear I have and I put it onto my unit for GW Defense...I click Update like you did...then I go back to that unit and ungear it,will my guild wars defense unit be ungeared too? Also nice on the lillias I have her ran and senya didnt build either of them xD time to build. Love the vids very informative for people such as myself.

Yes, as long as you click update once - that will save whatever builds you put in. Even if you exit out and take gear/artifacts off, it will not impact your defense. Thanks for your support

I only use Krau in gw specifically into any Rimuru defence, and I always assume they have 5k atk 350cd pen, thats why my Krau is on permanent holysac. Never lost a fight against that team et similars, it doesnt matter the Rimuru build at all, just holysac it regardless and you cant lose, even if Meru is injury or whatever. Yeah I know not everyone have a +30 holy sac, but that artifact alone can kill all rimuru defences I feel like

@@vikchun That honestly never happened, there is always a way around in casual top 100. Never happened that I absolutely NEEDED holysac twice against someone and thankfully since we are not HoF contenders it will keep not happening :P your videos are still nice and very informative, keep it up!

@@alessio5541 thank you Alessio! It's not common anymore because Hwayoung got nerfed but some people do still run the nuke rimuru + nuke adin to force Holy Sacrifice on 1 round and Dark Corvus on another. And chances are you're going to want Roana/Destina for both

I got lazy go remake my gw def so i take what i can get. I change teams just to start a gimmick since i dont really run high speed builds but i have lots of eff stufff running around lmao. But usually i run usual offenses so weird builds dont surprise me.

Whenever I see Choux, it’s just free Roana and LCB win Kayron counter will feed LCB even more than Senya. Fat Roana wil never die to Kayron especially with Def buff from ARas, which is there to aggro the Choux. Idol’s Cheer on Roana and basically the only one to even have a slight chance at dying is Aras, but revive buff says hi LHC is just too unreliable with 50% cc I have more trouble with ARavi cos we all know she has 100% counter chance and 100% hit rate against Adin

I understand where you're coming from but I promise you your LCB would die, clilias dual attacking LCB with Choux fwoosh is just too much damage no matter how you wanna see it. You'll win most but you'll also lose some

@@vikchun Yeah my LCB is more defensive than offensive, 1.8k def and 19k hp. honestly, i haven't lost a single time agaisnt Choux, but lost a few times against a super high EFF Senya that keeps provoking my 200ER Roana though That Amid def though, that's the worst one for me Usually Aras gives DEF buff and before the DEF buff wears off, the Choux is most likely almost dead, soul burning Aras S2 on her and use LCB S3 as soon as provoke wears off to give her extra tankiness

My def is just gear gap or die 😂 I'm a fort so trap is out of the question. And I only farm wyv so I can't do counter or injury. Basically any decent guild can come up with a safe comp against my def and the only way it wins is because my r1 def does too much dmg or I outspeed their zio with my r2 ran I'm in a casual guild. In competitive gw my def will get 0 green shields 😂😂

Has to be one of TL defenses before I joined like a couple years ago. It was like Rem Charles Luna or something 280 Charles 270 Rem 260 Luna Zekknn from Kyoto had a good defense too last season with Ran, Summertime Iseria, BBK. I 15% resisted his bombs with my bbk and luckily won
