That ends the group stage and honestly i just have to say Beau Greaves is absolutely astonishing. She was so so good and honestly once she gets her Tour Card, she is a massive threat to anyone. Add to that shes only 19 and its unbelievable how well shes already playing at this age and will only get better. She may not have made it through but she made Aspinall and Heta bring out some of their best stuff to beat her. Heta knows how hard that was, I have to give him credit as well, that 164 was unreal, and then he followed it with the 130 as well. He had to be so clutch otherwise he would have gone out. I knew Cross would beat Fallon but atleast she won a few legs. A good effort from the ladies and its nice to see them playing on the big stage and Beau is gonna be playing there a lot in the coming years. Onto the round of 16 and now the real tournament starts.

That 164 checkout by Heta was incredible as he would have been 4-1 down and match probably over if he missed.

Well apart from the last match, that was painful to watch tonight… thank you to Damon and Beau for providing a fantastic match to end the group stage on a high. That 164 turned the tide. Damon has got some bottle. Much respect. Beau deserves respect too. She’s got game to take on anybody. And she’s got time to develop her game further.

I’ll never forget watching a match between beau and leighton Bennett in the finals of something on the local scene and leighton stayed ahead for most of it and was so over the top with the celebrations and beau was just quiet and did her thing and she snuck it out. Now look at them. We will probably never see “the next Phil Taylor” on that stage but we will be seeing beau likely for decades.

I was so gutted for Beau, even more so that I backed her to go quite deep in this competition. I feel like overall she was the better player that night. Heta just pulled two massive finishes out of nowhere (all credit to him given the pressure!) but those are the kind of finishes where you just think "this is not my night" and that's ultimately what finished Beau off.

Beau Graves is incredible. She will surpass anything that Sherrock has done in this sport, and I say that with the greatest of respect to FS.

What a great game darts is, one that men and women can compete equally.

Its a good experience for Beau though, different from women's darts but to be honest shes right up there with the best of the mens.

I guess scratch what i said about Pikachu learning something from the Beau Greaves match. In fact, he decided to be a complete bellend on stage and is planning to continue this behaviour in protest of the crowds if he feels they behave unfairly according a brief talk with Elmar Paulke, our german DAZN commentator. That's seriously petty and shows he has massive problems dealing with the slightest ill-behaviour towards him, every single player will have to deal with crowds, he's not singled out in this. It's not gonna work out well for him and i hope he realizes this soon enough.
