I grew up surfing in So Cal and moved to Portland a few years ago and have been wanting to get in the water up here, especially after seeing so many empty lineups. What water temps and wetsuit thickness are you using in the summer?
@@biosfearmag Washington and the northern Northern coast actually get fairly different water temperatures. Especially if you’re talking about northern Oregon coast most famous spot called short sands where almost no matter what the water is pretty dang cold and you’re definitely gonna need to be in a hooded 54.the Washington Coast fluctuates through the summer. Sometimes you can get away with a hoodless for three other times. You’re also wearing a hooded 54.
